Did you catch what Wyck Godfrey said in his FearNet interview about filming Breaking Dawn in 2 and 3D ? His statement pretty much confirms that Breaking Dawn will be split just after Bella dies, as we’ve predicted. I don’t know if there is enough male-attracting “action” in that first half though. I mean, I know we Twilight fans would be quite content with the movie consisting of the wedding and honeymoon but seeing how Summit so likes to attract boys to this series, I don’t think that will happen. Given that, there could be a lot of rewriting of the first half and heck, probably the second half of Breaking Dawn as well. That battle is more a game of chess than one with blood and gore. So, how will you feel if some creative license is taken with the story itself in Breaking Dawn? How much “off-book” will you tolerate and what might you suggest? Stephenie Meyer is a producer, so how far could they go anyhow???? Related posts:

I don’t think I’d mind too much additional action to Part I, but as long as it could happen in the book. I think that there could be a lot of wolf action in the first Breaking Dawn film. Maybe when Jacob steps away from his pack there could be a huge fight. Or Jake can turn one time when Rose is being a bitch and all the other vampires can flip out and the wolves in Jake’s pack can phase. Or Edward can get pissed at himself for impregnating Bella and causing her pain so he goes out into the woods and clears the forest. Little things that won’t impact the storyline. Stepenie has said that she’s ok with things that could happen, which works out perfectly. |

NOOOOOO 3D fro me, that would totally suck! Wow, Joyce you called it though, seems like the will split the story right where you said they might. I agree with Melissa though, only little things that could perhaps, dare I say enhance the story a little. What I know is this, they had better not change the weding/honeymoon so much that we don’t recgonize it….just leave that part alone. I mean we aren’t going to get what we really want anyway which is a very hot, passionate, bare Rob backside shot…….sooooooo, just leave that alone. What I don’t want…is Taycob overload, but I won’t be holding my breath on that one. Sorry Joyce, I guess you will hve to approve my comments again. I’m at my work computer now, so I had to change my e-mail again here. Funny how that works. |

As long as it’s not 3D and they keep the important stuff, I’m happy. I think it should split just after the baby is born and Edward begins to try to change her. I think that if the 2nd started off dark, but you could hear her talking in her head during the burning – that would be cool. I don’t care about them adding action, as long as it’s not exaggerated. If it wasn’t something that could’ve been in the book, it shouldn’t be in the movie. |
