People magazine here quote Ashley Greene’s interview in the new Seventeen magazine. She is just adorable!

“When I met Rob, I didn’t think twice about him,” Greene says in new issue of Seventeen, on newsstands May 25. “He’s really attractive, but that chemistry wasn’t there.”

And with what could be a dagger in the hearts of woman all over the world, Greene says the sex symbol “doesn’t understand girls.”

“He gets a lot of attention from them, but he doesn’t quite understand it because before Twilight, he was just a guy from Harry Potter.“

But it was different story for Greene and her Twilight costar and onscreen family member, Kellan Lutz. When asked if she’s ever hooked up with Lutz, Greene replied, “I’ve definitely thought about it.”

She says the pair, who are currently in contract negotiations to make sure they remain part of the Cullen family for the final two Twilight installments, met years ago through their agent and they’ve been “best friends ever since – and filming together has made us even closer.”

But Greene doesn’t see romance in their future together. “He’s one of my best friends, but if we were going to be romantic, we would have done it years ago!” she says. “I like having him to talk to about other guys to get that male perspective. I really cherish our relationship, so I wouldn’t want to mess that up by dating.”

aw! she’s so preety! she was made for this stuff and twilight really helped her. I agree, i think it will ruin their friendship..it complicates things..but they WILL make a cute couple though..but the fans wont want to see “alice ” and “emmett” together lol..

Aw thats cute and I really cant even see them as a couple. I think Kellan and Ashley give off that brother sister vibe. There are some friends who can easily become more but I think she is right, it could mess up that friendship and while it is a no brainer that Kellan is attractive they just give off a very comfortable big brother protecting little sister vibe.

I like Ashley but I think she is full of sh** regarding the stuff she says about Rob. I remember when they first started filming Twilight, she was gushing about Rob, how cute he was, etc. – both her and Nikki. But now that they can’t have him, all they do is talk sh** about him. Oh well, don’t care what she says, she changes men like she changes her underwear

LMAO wow Shirley. I dont think Ashley is talking crap about Rob. I do think that she has changed up her answers a bit from when she was first starting to be interviewed. Nikki and Ashley both have done that but Nikki changed her view on being Team Edward and supposedly prefers Team Jacob now. As for her thoughts of Rob Nikki just came out in an interview saying she can totally see the attraction women have with him and she gets it so I dont think you can categorize Nikki in the talking crap about Rob list. I think Ashley is just trying to think of new answers to say in interviews instead of the usual boring answers. It gets old being asked the same questions constantly and unless they want to sound like robots like Taylor does they change it up. I will say this though, while I do like Ashley she does come off as the Hollywood trend following type of actress and not someone that you get a deeper meaning from like Kristen or Nikki who seem really into what they do because it is an art. Ashley loves her job and the fame and fashion trends she is into and there is nothing wrong with that. It simply makes her seem to blend in more with other Hollywood types instead of stand out like a lot of the cast does.

Sorry, guys, I call BS on the whole thing! Okay, well, half of it. Maybe she’s right about the Rob stuff…he does seem a little bewildered about all the attention he gets from women..but that’s b/c he doesn’t see himself very clearly.

As for the Kellan bit…that’s where I call BS! I think it’s more than just a brother/sister vibe. I just think that she doesn’t want to put her personal business out there.

She’s been seen making out with that Chace Crawford guy and also said she and Jackson have crushed on each other. Kellan is constantly seen kissing and cuddling with that McCord chick from 90210 so sorry Stacie but if those two do have something going on it is a VERY open relationship in a creepy kind of way.

I so agree Rachelle…honestly i dont even know what they want..i guess they assume they are young so can just hook up with people or whatever..that hollywood trap..ugh!

Let’s put it this way when they were working on Warrior together and asked about the kissing scenes, Ashley said she thought it would creep her out because Kellan is like her brother but she also admitted that intimate scenes are more about being comfortable with the person so it wasnt as bad as she thought but kellan is her best friend and she was a bit curious how that would show onscreen. Unfortunately I think Kellan and Ashley both fall into that Hollywood scene and they are different from a lot of the cast. Jackson, Nikki, Kristen, and Rob just give off a different vibe so I am not surprised that Ashley and Kellan hang out together a lot even though the cast is close.

Rachelle & Stacie – sorry I wasn’t around to respond to your comments, real life caught up with me. I guess I need to do a double take about Nikki and Rob comments, I just saw her comments about Rob and getting what women see in him. That is quite an about face from what she said after she started going out with that Paris guy. As for Ashley, ok, you want to give different answers but I think it was still a bit of a put down to Rob saying he doesn’t understand women – he understands one woman fine, just doesn’t understand our attraction to him… and that wasn’t a nice comment from me about men/underwear because I do like her

Okay….after re-reading everything that was siad, including my own comments….okay, you guys are probably right. I guess it was just wishful thinking on my part. They look so cute together, and if I were Ashley….girl, I’d be ALL over that! Hum, you all sure that maybe they are at least FWB’s? NO? Yes? LOL……I think maybe the idea popped into my head after seeing this picture of the two of them up in the VC, right when Eclispe started fliming and after that whole mess w/ the scandlous pics of Ashley cropped up on the web…..she had her puppy w/ her, and they looked like they were just coming out of 7-11 or somewhere..she was all hidden behind HUGE sunglasses and al covered up….and Kellan had this look on his face, like “Go ahead and mess with her…I’ll drop you like a bad habit.” IDK, just looked like she felt safe…the pic said to me”I’m home.” JMO!
