I am too lazy to start MOTU. 80 something chapter is just too long for my attention span. Across the Ocean is one of my faves! If you guys are willing to try non canon and slash I have some good stories there that I can email you. (I know it isn’t everyone’s thing so it is ok if you aren’t interested)

im on chapter 40 now thats like half of it in 3 days, im SO addicted!
but the chapters are pretty small and the dialogue us easy to read through.
it is quite shocking though, i dunno if many would like it

Melissa, what do you mean non-canon? as in different couples?

Non Cannon means NOT Edward and Bella. It could be Edward and Alice or Jasper and Bella. Slash is Boy/Boy or Girl/Girl. Now I KNOW that sounds weird but I have an easier time seeing Edward Kissing a boy before he would kiss another girl. I tend to only read the male slash. Like I said I know it isn’t many people’s thing. It is all on what you are comfortable with. I just know that some of the best plots and most moving pieces I have read have been slash. Plus how can I be a FF guru if I am not willing to step off the beaten path lol

Melissa…..I loved, loved, loved Across the Ocean!!! It is amongst my top five favorite fanfics!!!! I could read it again, and again. Um…..not really into non-cannon couples or slash…but if you have any rec’s along the lines of Across the Ocean OR If Every Word I Said Could Make You Laugh…? That would be great.

Stacie don’t stress it! I figured I would ask most of the rec’s on the site are going to be along the lines of the stories you mentioned. I try to steer clean of the extremes. Those people can find on their own kwim?
