Here is another look send in by cullenluv What do you think? Is this the engagement ring? It seems to have the oval shape we expect it to have. The picture is certainly not in Edward’s bedroom when he first gives her the ring in the book. (Compromise, pg 458-460) Thoughts on this one? Thanks to @lizelleb for spotting this on the screencaps from the Eclipse trailer.

I think it is in the end of the movie/book when she asks Edward about the ring before they are going to tell Charlie. |

Proposal page 459 When Eward gives Bella the ring and they are both looking at it on her finger. Bella: “YOU LIKE THAT, DON’T YOU?” Then he gets so excited and over come with emotion and he is kissing her passionately leaving her breathless and he whispers in her “YES, I LIKE IT. YOU HAVE NOT IDEA.” Bella: “I BELIEVE YOU.” Then he proposes to her, hopefully that will be included in the movie. |

Alma and Anna I agree, HAS to be the end of the movie as that is where she actually puts on the ring…at the end of the book, in the meadow, before they are off to tell Charlie! NOT in Edward’s bedroom earlier, he takes it back! So, IF it’s the engagment ring, it HAS to be the end! I hope so, because then that will mean the movie is staying close to the book, and if I haven’t mentioned it before, Eclispe is my fave book! |

End of the book. Duh. I don’t know why people are confused by this. Thank you those who said this before me. Have people not ever read Eclipse? ): it makes mesas that people don’t automatically remember that. |

I remember seeing a drawing of this ring, and I thought it was going to be huge. I think this is really beautiful, and I’m glad I proved myself wrong, and now I have learned my lesson of judging anything before I really see it. |
