Last weekend, I was lucky enough to attend the Breaking Dawn Convention. It was a blast and being able to see the stars up close was amazing. Tinsel and Boo Boo attended the entire convention and made it very memorable for everyone. Things were electric when the Cullen cast, Rob, Kristen, Taylor, and Condon took the stage. It was very interesting to hear Melissa Rosenburg explain scenes she wrote in or kept out of the films. She was asked about several parts of Eclipse and her answers were not the most satisfactory, so she finally just said that the characters in the books are different from the characters in the films, especially Bella who she called “proactive” in the films. It was nice to see her answer the tough questions and not dodge them. We were shown special footage from the film, which only made me want to see it more! You can check out my pictures here! |

It is October and all the Breaking Dawn Part 1 hysteria is about to begin! Creation Entertainment has not only announced that the Twilight Convention in Los Angeles will take place November 4-6, but also that Rob, Kristen, Taylor, and all of the Cullens except for Kellan will be there! Unfortunately, Kellan will not be attending due to filming, but BooBoo Stewart (Seth) and Julia Jones (Leah) will be there as well. Plus, there are more guests to be announced! You are cordially invited to attend the premiere fan event of the year as Summit Entertainment and Creation Entertainment present The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 Official Fan Convention. Here’s the tentative run-down of what to expect during your weekend: Guests Appearance Days UPDATE 7:43pm: Tinsel Korey (Emily) and Christian Carmago (Eleazar) have been added to the lineup. Tinsel will be there Saturday and Christian will be there Saturday, at the wedding reception, and the Sunday Brunch! I am definitely excited about this convention because I have already bought a ticket in order to attend. I decided to go to the convention instead of the premiere and hope to get a lot of good pictures to put on the site. Hopefully I will see some of you there! Check out Creation’s Website for more info and updates! |

With all the speculation and rumors going around, Summit has finally made it official and confirmed the premiere date and location for the LA Premiere on the Twilight Twitter: “The Breaking Dawn Part 1 World Premiere will be at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on 11/14! Will you be there?” This is great news for those of us who would like to attend and want to start planning, but there is also some more information that is quite interesting. Creation Entertainment has also made an announcement on their site about a Twilight Convention that could be happening before the premiere in LA. Los Angeles, CA I briefly spoke to one of the reps for Creation to clarify and he explained to me that just like with Eclipse, there is supposed to be a Twilight Convention in LA to help promote the film. The weekend being looked at right now is November 4th and more details should come out some time this week. At first I was positive that I would be attending the premiere, but with the convention being held earlier, it might be nice to go to that instead. I would love to go to both, but I do not think that would be possible, so it seems I will just have to wait and see which seems more promising. Camping out for days on the streets of LA for the premiere seems like a once in a lifetime experience, but if the convention is anything like the Eclipse one, then it would be fun to attend that. What about you ladies? Is anyone planning to attend the premiere or the convention when it is announced? |

“The Miracle of Life,” that now-retro video show to confused and sometimes shocked middle school students in sex ed classes across the country, has largely been the only reference point for the machinations child birth for tween audiences, montages on MTV’s “Teen Mom” not withstanding. That’s about to change — and if they thought their 80s-made educational film was unsettling, tweens better brace themselves for some vampire birth. The birthing scene in “Breaking Dawn,” the final book in Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight Saga,” features Bella finally producing her Edward Cullen-fathered vampire baby, Renesmee. It’s a graphic scene in the book, but words and images are far different beasts, which makes one wonder just how faithful the Bill Condon-directed film will be to the book in that regard. According to Robert Pattinson, it’ll be just as potent. “The birth scene is so different from everything else in the movie. For a fantasy series it goes quite far. It’s hardcore, it’s graphic. There’s no other way to do it. It was fun,” he told the audience at Comic Con on Thursday (via HitFix.com). “You never really get to play Edward in a way that he’s literally so aware of his own helplessness,” he added (via Moviefone). “Either he’s completely in control or pretends he is, but here there’s no on else around, and there’s nothing he can do and he’s just desperate. Normally when that happens, Bella comes in and saves the day. But Bella isn’t there … he’s totally annihilated by the situation” Kirsten Stewart, the laboring mother-to-be in question, went into more detail. “She’s literally choking on blood she’s been drinking, literally out of her mind. It was always in my head that she’s been able to fight harder than anyone because of that little bit in her, literally,” she laughed (via Movieline). “And at that part I got to play with having venom run through your veins and start to feel the hell that that is, and that’s after a moment of sheer exuberance of looking at your baby for the first time.” That should please Meyer, who repeatedly emphasized her desire for the movie to match the book’s intensity. “I’d love to have the birth scene be every bit as awful — I know it freaked people out, but for those of us who have been through childbirth a couple times, it is a scary, terrifying experience,” she told MTV News last year. “This is just taking that to an exponential power, and I love going there.” Stewart said that she had a hard time with the actual child, once it was in the flesh and walking. “I couldn’t pick up the kid sometimes. We had Mackenzie Foy, who is an amazing little kid. Like the coolest kid ever,” she said (via PopSugar). “Smarter than me in a lot of ways. Then we had these other girls to play the younger version of Mackenzie. They’re all great, awesome kids, but I’m awkward, I can’t handle that. I look ridiculous picking them up, they were bigger than me in some cases!” |

USAToday Summit Entertainment is rolling out promotional cards for the movie Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Good thing it’s not the 1930s anymore. Otherwise, people might be coming with pitchforks and torches to meet Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), the vampire love interest of Bella in Twilight: Breaking Dawn. The heroic werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) is not a big fan of vampires — especially Edward, who has won the heart of Jacob’s longtime crush, Bella. |
