The Cast Post-Twilight

Thanks to the many comments today about the cast and the films, I have decided to pose a question here on CBA. As we all unfortunately know, the films will be over soon. We still have Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2, but the filming has already wrapped and I am sure the majority of the cast is thinking about what to do after the buzz calms down. I have two questions for you: Which of the big three (Rob, Kristen, and Taylor) do you think will be most successful after the films are over? Which castmate that was part of the original cast (Kellan, Nikki, Ashley, Jackson, Peter, and Elizabeth) do you think will surprise people with how well they have done? When I mean the cast, I am talking about the main cast and here are some quick bios below.

Robsweater 236x300 The Cast Post Twilight

Robert Pattinson aka RPattz

Films: 1o films not including the Twilight films.

Some Notable Films outside of Twilight: Harry Potter, Remember Me, and Water for Elephants

Future projects: Bel Ami, Cosmopolis, rumored for Unbound Captives

kristen stewart at 2009 mtv movie awards closeup The Cast Post Twilight

Kristen Stewart aka KStew

Films: 23 films not including the Twilight films

Some Notable Films outside of Twilight: Panic Room, Adventureland, The Runaways

Future Films: Snow White and the Huntsman

taylor lautner300 The Cast Post Twilight

Taylor Lautner aka Tay Tay or TL

Films: 4 outside of the Twilight Films

Some Notable Films outside of Twilight: Valentines Day, Cheaper By the Dozen, and Sharkboy and Lavagirl

Future Films: Abduction coming out in September

As for the rest of the cast, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, and Peter Facinelli, be sure to let us know your thoughts on them as well. You can click on their names for quick bios and a filmography. Who do you think will do the most after the films are over? Remember that does not just have to mean acting. It can mean directing, performing, producing, etc…..it is the fair thing to do to include Jackson as a musician, Nikki as a writer/director, and others who might branch out. Let us know in the comment section! Sound off!

20110610 120936 25 Things You Dont Know About Peter Facinelli

2. I have two middle names.

3. I am addicted to my iPhone. Damn you, Steve Jobs. And when does the next one come out?

5. I was a father at 22.

6. I love ’70s movies.

7. My father once waited on my favorite actor, Paul Newman. He made a photocopy of his credit card signature for me so he wouldn’t have to ask for his autograph.

8. My favorite hobby growing up was TV. Especially The Smurfs.

9. My oldest sister had the coolest Smurf collection. I stole it and gave it to my daughter. Only because I wanted it.

10. I don’t watch football, which is very unmanly to admit. Er, I mean, go Giants!

11. I missed Oprah’s final episode. Yes, just got my manhood back!

12. If aliens exist, I hope they clean up our Earth, bring a cure for cancer and also not eat us.

23. I rarely watch TV, but I’m always on my laptop.

24. My first job was a paperboy.

Peter signing 300x202 Peter Facinelli Signs Autographes for Blood and Lemonade

Waves of deafening cheers and applause followed Dr. Carlisle Cullen as he made his way through Quaker Bridge Mall yesterday.

The vampire, also known as actor Peter Facinelli of the popular “Twilight” movies, was outfitted in his civilian clothing, of course. He had just arrived from Vancouver, British Columbia, where crews are shooting “Breaking Dawn,” the next film in the blockbuster series.

Facinelli visited the area to raise awareness and garner support for two organizations advocating distinct causes: Alex’s Lemonade Stand for Childhood Cancer and the Community Blood Council-NJ for emergency blood supplies.

“I’m trying to use my fan base to (support) some good causes,” said Facinelli. He said he enjoys participating in mall appearances both to give back to his fans and to help with causes he is passionate about.
“We’ve sucked a lot of blood out of a lot of people,” he said about his appearances, which he said have raised more than $100,000. “That feels great, and that’s part of the reason why I do it.”

Peter Facinelli Screenplay rated #1 on cable TV
Feb 16

Mr.  Peter Pacinelli tweeted yesterday:

#Accidentally in Love, was the #1 rated movie on cable television, Sat. Feb. 12. Thanks for watching and making it such a success. :)

Peter Facinelli Screenplay rated #1 on cable TV

This is the first screenplay he wrote and his lovely wife was the leading lady. Here is some more on the back ground of this film:

It stemmed from a traumatic Easter spent dressed up in a bunny outfit to entertain his two young daughters with wife Jennie Garth.

“I hopped around the yard like crazy while the girls looked out the window of our house for eggs,” he says. “And I was just in hell. It was hot. I was sweaty. It totally sucked. And I thought, I wonder what the guy who has to be in that Barney suit all day feels like?”

So he sat down to write a story about a children’s TV show actor in a rabbit outfit who hates kids and his job. It came together as a love story, of all things. Facinelli showed the script to friends, who gave him notes that helped him improve it. And finally, he and co-writer Charles Thomas Daniels sold the idea to Hallmark for the film “Accidentally in Love.”

I had a good giggle picturing Peter hoping around the back yard. Just shows what a great dad he is.  Glad to see the good that came from it. :)

‘Twilight’ news wrap: end scene for ‘Breaking Dawn’ has been shot!
Jan 19

Categories: Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli, Robert Pattinson, kristen stewart

Great news from our friend the Twilight Examiner. We are that much closer to seeing the movie and she also complied all the updates into one great post. Enjoy!

So, there’ve only been a few meaty updates today, and that warrants a quick wrap-up of Twilight news to get you up to date and back to your day.

First things first. Yesterday, there was a bit of heat over a potential Brazil premiere for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. The rumor was: the premiere for the film will take place in Rio de Janiero. As you know, parts of Breaking Dawn were filmed in different portions of Brazil (the honeymoon, namely), including the location chosen for Isle Esme. However, the reports were premature. That’s not saying a Brazil premiere is off the table, of course. For The Twilight Saga: New Moon, both Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner appeared in Brazil to promote the film, and the entire cast has been known to skip around the globe for various events (Berlin, Stockholm, Seoul, Paris, Sydney, and more- those are just off the top of my head). For The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and others, there was an official London premiere for the film. Also Madrid. Point is, international events are common with this series, and given the particular importance of Brazil to Breaking Dawn – Part 1, it is reasonable to foresee one of these events taking place there. It has just not been confirmed yet, and it probably won’t be the big “world premiere” since that usually takes place in Los Angeles, California.

Moving along but sticking with the international theme – TIME Magazine has listed Robert Pattinson as one of the U.S.’s “Top British Invasions,” alongside The Beatles, Harry Potter, and a few others. Considering all of the British talent that has made its way to Hollywood, that’s quite a compliment.

On with Breaking Dawn, NessieMackenzie.com, a fansite devoted exclusively to “Renesmee,” Mackenzie Foy, and Breaking Dawn info, has been tracking the situation as to which other actresses will be asked to aide in the “Renesmee Situation” we discussed before. The names they’ve come across are Eliza Faria and Rachel St. Gelais. Read all about it here.

Meanwhile, on the wolfy side of things, QuileuteWolfPack.com has an interview with Mariel Belanger, the actress who portrayed “The Third Wife” in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. One of the portions I found interesting was the discussion of Kristen Stewart’s portrayal of the same character (discussed during the commentary she did with Robert Pattinson on the Eclipse DVD), which did not make the cut for the film.

I got to watch Kristen Stewart as she mimicked my performance for the morphing into Third Wife part. She was nice, introduced herself to me.

Check out the rest of the interview here, as she talks about the set of Eclipse from a fresh set of eyes as well as working with director David Slade.

Yes, that was a purposeful segue to more on David Slade. He’s confirmed himself to be helming an episode of Breaking Bad from AMC – the third episode, in fact, and he’s set to begin working on it within the coming few weeks.

And speaking of Twilight-related TV, Jackson Rathbone and his 100 Monkeys (his band) are going to be on Friday’s episode of The Seven at MTV, starting at 5:00 p.m. EST. A preview clip from that episode, as well as a video from the last appearance the band made on the show, can be found in the sidebar.

Finally, a new segment of Peter Facinelli’s on-carpet interview (from his time at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this week) with MTV has been revealed, and in it, Facinelli explained that the final scene from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 has already been filmed, and the reality of the moment was a bit “melancholy” for him and his co-stars. You can read the rest here.

UPDATE: Regarding that last bit, it’s a little confusing . . . the final (ending) scene from the movie has been shot, but production on other sequences from the films is still on-going. In other words, they’ve shot the ending somewhere in the middle and that bit has been done, but filming is far from over. Apologies for the confusion.
