Hurry, hurry!

Moviefone and Summit Entertainment are offering the residents of 10 lucky cities the chance to win tickets to a free screening of ‘Remember Me’ this Saturday, March 13, through Going.com.

‘Remember Me,’ which opens Friday, stars ‘Twilight’ heartthrob Robert Pattinson and ‘Lost’ survivor Emilie de Ravin as two young lovers who are threatened to be torn apart by family secrets. The film also features Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper as disparately difficult fathers.

Pattinson’s fans have come out in droves to drive what the studio is calling ‘Remember Me Saturday.’ In order to make the film a huge success, ‘Remember Me’ devotees are encouraging moviegoers to see it on opening night, and then bring friends and family to see it on Saturday; Summit is rewarding their passion with this very special ticket giveaway.

All you have to do to win is log-on to your city’s Going.com site. RSVP to the contest invite — the first person in their city to RSVP will win 4 free tickets to the Saturday 7 PM showing. Plus, you’ll receive a copy of the ‘Remember Me’ soundtrack.

Remember Me – PG 13 vs R

remember me pattinson

Will making “Remember Me” PG-13 be remembered as a a stoke of genius or an unfortunate misstep ?
Take a look at what Movieline had to say, and then give us your thoughts.

Passionate sex. Cigarette smoking. Gun violence. Fistfights. Frank dialogue. Adult themes. F-bombs. The “twist” ending (don’t worry, no big spoilers here). Robert Pattinson’s new film Remember Me plays out with all the salty, sultry vigor of the New York summer in which it’s set. Yet somehow, director Allen Coulter and distributor Summit Entertainment trimmed and tucked enough of that vigor to avoid the R-rating that would keep the film from its Pattinson-rabid teenage fan base. It was a job that likely meant the difference between a $25 million and a $50 million opening or maybe even more — not to mention one that, as Coulter told Movieline recently, he almost refused to do.

[Minor content spoilers do follow below]

“When I was informed that the project was PG-13, my first reaction was, ‘Well, sayonara!’”

Full version of Rob Pattinson’s interview that ran on today’s Early Show on CBS.  It was recorded last week when he was doing the whole Remember Me blitz in NY.  Probably the best part is when Rob talks about being pregnant and his mom’s reaction.

Would you ever play James Bond? What is it like having James Bond for your dad?

Fun video of Rob Pattinson answering questions sent in by fans. Some pretty good questions. Better, in fact, than most of those asked in the New York “Remember Me” interviews last week. Most amazing moment in this video, though? Lisa from English gave up Twilight for Lent!

Rob says would have trouble giving up beer.

Pattinson Likes His Anonymity in England

An interview with Rob Pattinson by Lawrie Masterson of the Australian paper, the Sunday Herald Sun.  Some things differ with things Rob has said on TV recently, like if his mom still follows the gossip, which she said on The View she no longer does.

AT 23, Robert Pattinson’s chosen career is simmering along quite nicely, thank you, with the handsome London actor pulling in an estimated $20 million, give or take a few bucks, last year.

Having kicked into high gear playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) before the hugely successful Twilight series, “R-Patz” (or sometimes even “Spunk Ransom”), as he is known, is the cause of instant hysteria among young women around the world and much innuendo in the gossip pages.

But he is in a relationship with his beautiful Twilight co-star, 19-year-old Kristen Stewart, and both are so in demand that you wouldn’t think they would have time to read anything salacious about themselves.

They don’t, but Pattinson gets reminded of it constantly, nevertheless.

“I still get my mum (Clare) calling me up every single day and questioning me about the gossip stuff,” he says with a slight shake of his head and a smile.
