Lucky Twilight fan Tara, who sent us her London Film and Comic Con fan report, also went to the Forbidden Planet Bookstore, in Dublin Ireland, to see Peter Facinelli. Here’s what she had to say:

Hey it’s Tara again, got home to Dublin last night from comic con, and found out Peter was doing another signing about 5 minutes away from where I live in Forbidden planet comic book store. Since I forgot to bring my Breaking dawn book with me to London I went to get it signed and was lucky enough to get another photo with him, the guy’s amazing, I was double dazzled in the past 2 days!

Only if we were as lucky as this fan to be dazzled by Peter!

Tara from Dublin,Ireland had a wonderful encounter at the London Film and Comic Con that she shared with us.Here’s the wonderful message and pictures she sent.

Hi my name’s Tara from Dublin(Ireland). I went to London for the film and comic con to get my twilight fix (lol). I was lucky enough to meet all the twilight guys, Alex, Justin and Peter and they were all so nice. Even though Peter arrived a day late he done his best to meet all fans who were there to see him, he squeezed an extra photo shoot in to make up for the Saturday. I have to say he’s so much more handsome in the flesh, and so nice! I was told when I asked could he write happy birthday as well as my autograph, that he was too busy, so I waited and asked him and he was more than happy to do it and wished me a happy birthday and gave me a smile that made me nearly pass out! I was so Dazzled!! Here’s the pics hope u like

So, Kris and I arrive late to the event, and only caught the tail end of Gil Birmingham (billy black)’s Q&A. He ended up playing the guitar. Initially, he was asked if he could play, but he said he didn’t have a guitar. So some random girl comes running in from the back with one and suprises him one. He was VERY good.

the convention was a lot of hurry up and wait. Run from your seat and get in line for photo ops with the actors, only to have to wait at least a half hour before the actor is even brought into the room. Both Gil and Peter went back to their rooms after their Q&A’s.

Gil looks a lot younger in person than he does on film. When we finally got up to his table for his autograph, we had been waiting a good 2.5 hrs and were starting to complain because everyone was beyond tired at this point. He heard and apologised and ended up doing photos with us to make up for it.

Peter. Peter Facinelli- yum. I swear the man smells of Chocolate and sex. it was sinful! I actually asked him what cologne he uses, but he couldn’t remember, and that he wasn’t sure he wanted to tell me either – wanted to keep his smell to himself.

So during his Q&A, he was asked everything from if he liked his look as Dr. Cullen to if he had any problems in his RV. I seriously can’t go into everything he said becuse it was too much and he was kind of long winded with his answers. At the end, it was announced that they were out of time but Peter said he woudl take more, which is why everything ran long. He’s such a sweet guy. Came into the audience and invited people onto stage to ask their questions.

By the time we got up to Peter for his autograph, he was being rushed so he could get to the airport on time. Found out this am that he missed his flight. poor guy!

The Hillywood Crew. I think the best part about the night was when Kris and I were waiting in line for photos with Peter (i think.) this girl behind us was in a wheelchair. The Hillywood crew came over to suprise her and she started crying. It was sweet and they were very nice to her. Peter and Billy both did photos with this girl and signed her shirt as well.

Overall: Overall, it was a fun experience. It could have been done a lot better though, because the majority of the time you’re sitting and waiting, and you can only listen to the soundtrack and score so many times before you start to go crazy.

“i got a pic with Dakota 20 minutes ago, i was walking with my friend in downtown vancouver and she was outside of her hotel, we asked her for a pic and said yes, she is so pretty and sweet.”

A lucky resident of Vancouver left work at 11pm and walked past the one and only Taylor Lautner!!

“I just got off work around 11PM and walk down my usual street to head down the station when I saw Taylor heading my way. He was wearing his brown hoodie paired with his black jeans. I never thought I would see him around that time. He was walking alone the empty streets of Vancouver. I was like 3 meters away when I noticed it was him. When our paths crossed I told him if I can take a picture of him and me and he gladly said “Yeah for sure!”.”

How lucky is she!!

Our friend Deb sent us her awesome fan encounter from her weekend in Vancouver:

Wow is all I can say… What a weekend… I discovered I have a talent for spotting celebrities… We managed to get four autographs! And find a set location!

I went over to Vancouver on Friday afternoon and met up with another twilight fan who I chat with on another site and we started our grand adventure of trying to see and meet the twilight stars. I brought my special edition of twilight book to have signed by the cast.

Day one was spent hanging out at one of the hotels that the stars are known to be staying at, not two minutes after we arrive at the hotel I see this shock of red hair. An lo and behold it’s Rachelle Lefevre! I couldn’t believe it, I had a mental block on her name and all I could say to Jamie was red hair… red hair… So we wander over and join the autograph seekers and I have her sign my book and she signed Jamie’s twilight poster. She was very gracious, and beautiful her hair is so remarkable such a vibrant red.

We were thrilled that we actually were able to meet one of the stars we giggling like a couple of school girls. We settled in to see if we could see anyone else and after a while I see Kellan going for a run.

We were too far away to catch his attention, we waited about a half hour and he ran back by the hotel again this time in the bike lane on the street. We tried to get his attention as he ran by, but he was listening to his IPod and didn’t hear us calling him. We watched him run up the street and turn the corner a couple of blocks up… So we decided to go around back of the hotel and we hit pay dirt about 10 min later. As he was jogging by we got his attention and asked if he wouldn’t mind signing an autograph for us. He consented but wanted us to move closer to the hotel entrance to do it. He’s still jogging, so we start jogging so we don’t make him wait for us. Now you must realize that I’m in 3″ heels and definitely not a jogger myself. He starts kidding around with us and running in circles around us and says that if we want an autograph we gotta catch him, I have no hope in hell in catching him and I’m worried that I’m going to trip in the shoes I’m wearing. So I retort “I’m in heels, you don’t want me pulling a Bella and falling on my face trying to catch you” . He stopped and said “No I don’t want that, I would feel really bad if you hurt yourself”. He gave me a personalized signature in my book and took pictures with us… I took the picture of him and Jamie and I wasn’t expecting a picture with him. But he opened up his arms says “Now my Bella”, and I took it as he wanted a hug. So I swoop in and give him a huge hug…. What a bod he has on him! I’m a little giddy at this point and can’t remember what he said, but it was something about a picture. I was like oh yah picture… We turn and Jamie takes our picture all snuggled up together and I have my hand on his chest…. Didn’t want to let go… If you know what I mean…

Well as you can imagine after this we are on quite a high… Kellan wow… such a sweetie.

We go back around the front of the hotel and find out that we missed Ashley… That sucked… but meeting Kellan was just too much fun!

We go back to hanging out again and around seven pm who do we see but none other than Kristen! We call her over and ask if she would sign for us. She comes over and starts signing my book personalized again… Yay!!… and by the time she’s signing Jamie’s poster a bunch more fans seemed to come out of the woodwork and converge on her. We didn’t get a very good picture of her… She looked really tired, poor girl I guess all the late nights are getting to her. Jamie asks her if they are filming the Birthday Party scene and she confirmed that they were. She then ran off to her waiting car and was off to the set.

We waited around a little bit longer hoping to see Ashley, but we were not so lucky.

Our next grand adventure was to see if we could find the Cullen House set… We had gained some information of roughly were it was, and I googled the area in Vancouver and wrote down some street names… Off we went… and wouldn’t you know the one street that I chose to use in the gps for directions was the correct street. We were driving up the road and we saw the trucks parked on the side of the road. We scream like school girls and high five, we couldn’t believe that we actually found the set. We park get out and walk up to the small crowd of fans that were standing on the sidewalk and find out that we just missed Peter. It was hard to see anything as the house was down below the road level and blocked by screens and trees… All we could see was a really bright light. We hung around for a couple of hours and decided that we needed provisions to wait out the night. Off we went to grab a quick bite to eat and hit WallMart for comfortable shoes and some blankets. We get back and find out that we missed Taylor….. Drat!

Our luck is running out… Around twelve thirty we see Kristen’s car and Rob’s car being backed down the driveway and a half hour later up they come… Kristen’s car didn’t stop and no one lowered a window… Rob’s car was held up by traffic and the passenger window was down and we got a brief glimpse of what we think was Rob… We were told that all the crew had left and so we headed back to our hotel… Little we know that they had only left for lunch… We found out later that they wrapped up around six am and the cast stopped for the die hards that waited out the night. Crap! Oh well what can you do…

We spent Saturday in Stanley park as we thought that the cast was probably sleeping… Yah of course we were wrong again… We found out later that around nine am they were seen leaving the hotel to go for breakfast… But Saturday afternoon when we stopped by the hotel we saw Rachelle again, she was in a hurry and wouldn’t stop for autographs. We hung around a little longer and saw Kellan jump into a car with his luggage and zip off.

Our next adventure was Neptoon Records to see 100 monkeys…. Neptoon Records was having a “record store appreciation day” they had several bands listed for the event. It’s a small place and the bands were playing in a corner or store near the entrance. The place was packed as you can well imagine. We scoped out a good location for the vertically challenged where we could get a good unobstructed view of the bands, this ended up being an upper level in the store that overlooked the corner that the bands were playing in. It ended up being a perfect location. We settled in to wait for 100 monkeys … They were suppose to play at seven pm and ended up playing closer to eight thirty but it was well worth the wait. The band is great! Jackson… Is soooo hot! OMG he has that same shy boy smile as Rob and his Texas accent….. Dreamy…. After their performance the band signed autographs, Jackson signed my book and Jamie’s post and the band signed the EP’s that we picked up….

After this we headed back to the hotel and then hit Yaletown to see if we could run into Rob in any of the bars there. We had a fun night but no luck in finding Rob…

All in all it was a very surreal weekend….

Yes, we may have been twice the age of everyone else there, but we were okay with that. We waited about 2 hours before Taylor Lautner (Jacob) came out to take photos with the fans. What a class act. Totally reaffirms why I am Team Jacob.

rob is in another hotel just across from us kristen is staying in our hotel. but they just met up here to to leave i guess.

Ever heard of Robert Pattinson, Nikki Reed, Sam Bradley???

Walking down a street, looking for a cool place to hang and have a beer… As I’m walkin, I pass in front of a terrasse of a nice ”trendy” restaurant. My eyes caught the face of someone reminding me of a singer I have just discovered. It’s HIM!!! next to the ”lookalike” is the boy with the hat. Next to the one with the hat, in front of the ”lookalike” is the girl without the wig. OK, this is too good to be true. I look at Penny and stop walking. Take another look, my own little voice is screaming inside. It cant be true… My head turns back one more time. The boy with the hat is looking at me; he knows I recognized him. He’s trying to hide in his jacket… I get the message that he’d rather like go unnoticed… So I decide to keep going on my mission for a place to hang out. In the meantime, a few calls to my friends who are gonna kill me if I dont go back… What should I do, what should I say?

After 15 minutes of walking around, Penny’s got a txt message sayin we should go to a certain bar… We turn around and walk toward some pub. I HAVE to pass by again. As I’m walking passed the restaurant, there’s 3 girls (I beleive a mom and daughters, but honnestly I was so in shock I dont remember…) were talking to them and took a picture. Ok, so, if I dont do this now, I wont get another chance. I’m getting to the table and apologize (so many times, I probably looked like a total idiot) for disturbing their night, chatted for a couple of minutes, about Sam’s music and their time in Vancouver. Penny got to take a picture of Rob, Nikki and I(after several try, battery was dying, flash was off…). I have never felt so stupid (I aint natural blond!!! lol) in my life but hey, who cares? I most probably wont run into them again and if I do, then I wont be in shock state of shock!
