‘Twilight’ vampires make ‘Glamour Magazine’s’ ‘31 Sexiest Movie Vampires’

Via The Twilight Examiner

Indeed, the Twilight series boasts its fair share of good looking actors which in turn translates to even better looking vampires on-screen. Glamour Magazine tends to agree, naming several of the Twilight Saga’s movie vampires among their “31 Sexiest Movie Vampires” list.

The following characters made the cut:

31. “Alec” (by Cameron Bright)

29. “Victoria” (by Rachelle Lefevre and Bryce Dallas Howard)

27. “Demetri” (by Charlie Bewley)

25. “Alice Cullen” (by Ashley Greene)

24. “Carlisle Cullen” (by Peter Facinelli)

22. “Jasper Hale” (by Jackson Rathbone)

19. “Rosalie Hale” (by Nikki Reed)

17. “Caius” (by Jamie Campbell Bower)

10. “Riley Biers” (by Xavier Samuel)

4. “Emmett Cullen” (by Kellan Lutz)

1. “Edward Cullen” (by Robert Pattinson)

You can click the number links above to see the individual entries for each selection. Are there any other vampires from the Twilight series you would’ve chosen? I might’ve added “James” or “Laurent.” No doubt, after Breaking Dawn hits theaters, “Bella Cullen” will be making the list!

I know none of us are shocked about number one but I have very happy to see Riley so high on the list! All of our Cullen men made the the list so that is a total win in my book. :)

Ashley Greene on Alice

Excerpts from an interview by Movies.com.  Go to their site to read the whole article.

ashley greene Ashley Greene on Alice

Movies.com: I remember back when we met for the first Twilight film, and you talking about loving the character and doing her justice for the fans. How much of the character is yours now, three films in?
Ashley Greene: In general I always try to break characters down in the most basic form, being a human being – or having human characteristics, in Alice’s case. So if I’ve experienced anything in my life that is similar to them, I try to connect to that and I really kind of become this character.

With Alice, I definitely tried to stay optimistic like she does. And of course I love fashion! She loves fashion. For the family aspect of it, I’m extremely close to my family, as is she. So that was an easy connection. It wasn’t that big of a stretch. If someone messes with Alice’s family she’ll go to bat for them, and I’m the same way for my family.

Movies.com: With everything good that’s come from Twilight’s success, do you feel like you’ll have to overcome the popularity of the movies, to some degree, to establish your own cachet?
Greene:I will say that that will be the only kind of downfall – not being a part of Twilight, but just the instant fame, the “just out of water” fame. Everyone now knows who we are, but they only know this one thing that we can do. And so everyone is going, “Okay, is this the flavor of the week, or is this girl serious and is she here to stay?” I think, though, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. For the next five years I’d say that I do have something to prove. I’m going to have fun doing it.

Movies.com: Everyone’s had crazy fan-encounter stories. But do you also have a particularly special one where someone really impacted you?
Greene: Yeah. There’s one fan in particular who I’ve apparently inspired, and I’ve met her, I think, three times now. And she made me a scrapbook of my career and my life in Hollywood, which was really special to me. Especially now during this saga –this is a time of my life that I don’t think I’m ever going to forget, and I love that I now have this memory book that someone took the time to create for me. So that was really special to me. Then she wrote this letter with it and she was very sweet. It was very incredible that she did that!

Movies.com: What do you think about you and your character having that kind of impact?
Greene: It’s important to me that I’m very actively trying to be involved in young girls’ lives, because I think it’s important for them to know what they can do, what they can achieve. Some people don’t have people telling them that. My family was very supportive. Growing up my whole life, my mom was telling me how incredible and special I was and that I was going to change the world. I think it’s important for girls to know that they can change the world, that they do have an impact.

Which Twilight Character Do You Want to See in a Spin-off Book or Movie

Alice Which Twilight Character Do You Want to See in a Spin off Book or Movie

Our friends at CelebrityBeehive have some commentary on the importance of Alice in the Saga. You know Alice is my favorite vamp, after Edward of course, so I enjoyed her points as the wild Alice spin-off she concocted.

Two questions, what Alice moment do you hope makes it into the movie and, having seen the Bree Tanner book, what other character would like like to know more about?

Alice is pivotal in Eclipse for relief from the love triangle. I will be beyond pissed if in the film Alice is reduced to mere transitions between Bella, Edward and Jake. I hope the film includes the scene when Alice confronts Bella about eloping with Edward and not inviting her to the wedding. I also want to see the moment at the end when she’s planning Bella’s wedding and surprises her with the custom made wedding dress! See, good freaky.

What I would do for an Alice Cullen mini spin-off. That would be magical! I’m a huge fan of the fantastical and eastern legends so there would be a crossover of these worlds in my spin-off and Alice would be the protagonist. In my parallel universe, these adventures would take place after the events of Breaking Dawn; Bella is already a vampire, and Reneesme is approaching her tween years…

Alice has a mysterious vision, which worries Edward because Alice can’t see the outcome, but she is compelled to go anyway. She travels to China alone to find an ancient Oracle. There she discovers mystics who have been waiting for her for over 50 years. The Sect teaches Alice how to control her thirst for blood by manipulating the energy around her. Alice becomes the Sect’s Master, passing on her knowledge of foresight to worthy disciples who will later become Oracles themselves. In return, the Sect teaches Alice how to control chi energy, the Iron Palm and Soft-step Caterpillar Stances. Combined with her new energy abilities, Alice becomes immune to any mind shit that Jane or other Volturi dish out, thus making her one of THE most powerful vampires on earth; damn near invincible; and Hell in Heels if you double cross her! Watch out or she’ll cut your ass!

After a couple years, Alice misses her family (especially Jasper) and decides to return to Forks. She makes two stops before home – one is to Italy to mindf**k with the Volturi. She uses the Caterpiller move to sneak up on Jane and Aro and proceeds to pimp slap them both with her new Iron Palm stance. Demitri and Felix shit marbles (literally) and flee Volterra never to be seen again. No one stood a chance against her. Not even Alex who falls in love with Alice and wants to follow her (this is another spin-off folks). Feeling quite satisfied with her bad-ness, Alice’s makes her way to her second stop, Paris, to shop on the Champs – what else? Two years in the Chinese wetlands couldn’t curb her taste for haute couture!

Alice returns to Forks and life goes back to normal…or as normal as possible for an immortal, vampire, kung fu Master who loves Galliano and Dior.

I would love to see that! Which character would you want to have a ridiculous spin-off and what would it be about?
