CONFIRMED by Gossip Cop!!!

ashley kellan lacrosee lovers New York Post reports: Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz signed for Breaking Dawn last night!!!

Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz have closed deals to reup their roles in the next Twilight movie, “Breaking Dawn.”

Greene and Lutz signed contracts last nights, acccording to sources close to the deal.

Movie studio Summit Entertainment, which has made billions off the franchise, had been in negotiations with the two supporting characters since last week, but the two actors reportedly wanted pay increases for the next movie since the studio did not allow them to renegotiate on the second and third films.

Summit caved in after the two actors held out for more cash. “The studio realized how valuable Ashley and Kellan are to the franchise and did what they needed to do to keep them,” said a source close to the situation.

Reports said the kids have been trying to score paydays of $1.5 million. Sources said they two will receive close to that amount to continue on in their roles. “It was a good deal,” said the source.

The money is still much lower than what Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are supposedly pulling in.

“Breaking Dawn” will be the fourth and fifth movies of the Twilight franchises.

Ashley Kellan Tell Summit How You Feel About Kellan and Ashley through Gossip Cop

Gossip Cop asked today if you think Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz leaving the Saga would hurt the series.

The fact that GC is not squelching this as a rumor, has to give one pause. They seem to have an “in” at Summit when it comes to Twilight rumors, which make me think that if you want your feeling about Alice and Emmett heard by the powers that be, leaving a comment on Gossip Cop’s post might be a good way to go. I’m just sayin’….

Reports are swirling today that Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz might leave the “Twilight” franchise before Breaking Dawn begins production if contract negotiations crumble.

While it’s expected that the Big Three of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are close to finalizing deals to complete the run, Greene and Lutz are rumored to be looking for more than producers are willing to spend.

Bryce Dallas Howard is taking over for Rachelle Levefre in the upcoming Eclipse, so there is a precedent for secondary role replacements.

Gossip Cop wanted to know how much YOU think potential losses of Greene and Lutz would mean to the series’ final installment.

The Cullen Family Talks About Eclipse

53534813 The Cullen Family Talks About Eclipse

The LA Times caught up to the entire Cullen Family, sans Edward, and asked them what we can expect from their characters in Eclipse. From what they say, it looks like we will be seeing a lot more of the Cullens – more of the Cullens as a family and more of the Cullens as vampires. Just what we have been hoping for!

Yvonne Villarreal, The Los Angeles Times

“The whole family is in a vulnerable position because of the love we have for Bella,” said Elizabeth Reaser, who plays matriarch Esme Cullen. “If she’s not OK, we’re not OK.”

In the past, we’ve seen the clan hit baseballs so hard that they can play only in a thunder storm, to block out the sound. And we’ve watched the buttoned-up human imposters welcome Bella into their home as the human girlfriend of one of their own — the handsome Edward.

“This time around, you get to see their true vampire-ness,” said Peter Facinelli, who plays head vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the series based on the bestselling books by Stephenie Meyer.

What can we expect from the pale-faced Cullen family (which includes the Hale siblings) this go around? Here’s what the actors say audiences can expect from the story and their characters:

Facinelli: “For me, as Carlisle, it’s an exciting portion of the series. Carlisle is very compassionate and he has a lot of killing to do in this movie. I joke, after he kills the bad guys, he says he’s sorry in his head. And, you know, he’s calm and level-headed. He’s the rock of the family. He usually has a lot of information to draw from because Alice can see into the future and Edward can read minds. In this third movie, he’s not getting that information. Neither one of his sources are working, so he’s kind of flying blind.”

Reaser: “Esme is still a vampire. She still wants to kill people all day long. It was interesting to get in touch with the vampire side of her in ways that haven’t really been explored. Her family is in danger and that brings out the mama bear in her.

Ashley Greene (as Alice Cullen): “Yeah, she’s delicate and prissy at times, but Alice gets a little edgier with each installment. And with these vampires messing with her family and the people she loves, you’re going to see a bit of her toughness. It’s a reminder to the audience that even though we restrain ourselves at times, we’re still vampires and we’re dangerous. You’re going to see the dark, dangerous side of Alice.”

Kellan Lutz (as Emmett Cullen): “You’re going to see a smile on Emmett’s face from start to finish. He just loves to fight. And there’s a lot of fighting. He sort of plays bigger in this one than the others.”

Jackson Rathbone (as Jasper Hale): “You’ll get to see a little bit of the root of what makes Jasper so withdrawn and quiet in the Cullen family. Fans will get some of Jasper’s back story in ‘Eclipse.’ I got to wear the whole Civil War gear and everything. There’s a bit of the softer and darker side of Jasper in this film.”

Nikki Reed (as Rosalie Hale): “You see a reason for her attitude. I think fans will feel for her. There was a bit of that in ‘New Moon.’ Fans got to see a bit of her sensitive side. Her sane side. Her logical side. And her desire to help her family. This time around, she is much more of a participant. She’s a survivor. This is her family. So if protecting Bella means protecting her family, she’s going to do it.”

Robert Pattinson (as Edward Cullen): Snagging a phone interview with the brooding dreamboat — who was overseas shooting his latest film, “Bel Ami” — proved difficult. So what can we expect from the lovesick Edward? He promises to love Bella “every moment of forever,” as the trailer reveals. He’s still hesitant about her becoming a vampire. He’s determined to protect her from Victoria. And he’s vying with Jacob for her affections. Oh, the life of an antique teenage vampire.

When I saw this photo of Ashley Greene modeling Dolce and Gabbana’s corsets, all I could think of was “That’s Alice!” The designer clothes, the pixie look to her face, the perfectly smooth skin, and the short, actually pulled back, hair… it just looked like Alice to me. What do you think?

Ashley Greene on Watching Scenes from Eclipse
Apr 9

Categories: Alice Cullen, Ashley Greene, Jasper Cullen, eclipse movie

Incredible werewolves and fight scenes? Ok, good. It is the great Alice/Jasper scene she refers to, thought, that gets me interested. Bring on the the love for those two!

These days, there are people who would gladly name their first-born child Renesmee if given the opportunity to see June 30’s “Eclipse” two months early. Granted, Ashley Greene has connections that give her a level of access no normal Twilighter could achieve — but recently, she saw a chunk of David Slade’s upcoming film and couldn’t help geeking out like any other Stephenie Meyer fan.

“I’m so excited about it!” Greene told us recently when we visited her on the set of “The Apparition,” a supernatural thriller that marks her first starring role.

In mid-March, Ashley was called in for “automated dialogue replacement,” a process used by movies in post-production to have actors dub in lines that need to be tweaked or added to the finished film. In order to do so, actors are typically shown the completed footage so they can time their line readings correctly.

“A month ago, I got together with David Slade and we did the whole ADR thing,” Greene recalled. “And every time I’m in ADR, I’m like, ‘Why don’t you just roll the scene? I just need to see the whole scene.’ ”

Naturally, we’re guessing any good Twilighter would do the same. As a result of Ashley’s “thorough” approach to ADR work, she was among the first to enjoy some soon-to-be-classic “Eclipse” goodies.

“I got to see a lot of footage from it,” Ashley said. “And it looks really amazing.

“For one, the werewolves just look incredible in this one,” Greene said, adding that the beastly transformations of Jacob Black and his buddies are much improved over their “Breaking Dawn” manifestations. “They looked good in the last one, but of course we’re always trying to outdo ourselves, and so they look really incredible.

“Then, the whole fight sequence that I’ve seen really looks amazing,” Greene said of another of her favorite moments in the film, which is expected to bring more action and blood than any of the previous “Twilight” movies. “We worked our tails off for it.”

Singling out one more moment, she added: “I definitely think there is one scene in particular between Jackson [Rathbone]’s character Jasper and my character Alice that I think everyone is going to like.”

With just over two months left before the eagerly anticipated film’s release, Ashley left her “Twilight” fans with some encouraging words: “I don’t think anyone will be disappointed.”

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON

I love that Ashley Greene has found success with the Twilight Saga Series. She was, of course, a hostess in an LA restaurant prior to this.

From EW’s Nicole Sperling:

What was your most memorable fan encounter?

I’ve had a couple people make me scrapbooks, and that’s kind of an incredible thing because I’m in a midst of this whirlwind right now so there are a lot of things that I miss because we’re in this Twilight bubble and it’s just go go go. So probably a year after this is all done, we can sit back and look at the scope of it. So it’s nice for them to put a collection of my career and what I’ve been going through together. That’s really special.

Why do you think fans are so obsessed?

I think with vampires, you can’t really go wrong. For generations, vampires have been a hit because they’re unobtainable, mysterious, sensual, dangerous, kind of sexy. Then Stephanie Meyer added a Romeo-and-Juliet love story to this fantasy world. Edward happens to be a vampire but he’s very much that gentleman who opens doors and says everything a girl wants to hear and he’s basically the epitome of perfection. And then you have Bella, this normal, everyday girl, which a lot of us are, and she steals this vampire’s heart. So everyone wants their Edward and everyone wants to be Bella.

How has playing Alice Cullen changed your career?

I didn’t really have a career! So that’s how it changed. But now I’m doing what I want and I know I’m going to continue to work. This is it; this is the rest of my life. I can walk into rooms and talk to directors and producers that I couldn’t get into their doors before. And I can actually sit down and speak to them like a human being and not be terrified of them. That, and of course, the fact that people care what kind of coffee I drink and who I’m dating and where I’m going. Nobody knew my name before and nobody cared and then all of a sudden in a course of a year, everything has changed.

And what is the downside?

The only downside is when people stop realizing you are human and you’re not perfect. But it’s part of the territory and I wouldn’t trade it.

What was your first reaction to New Moon?

The tone, the color schemes, and the warmth of it is beautiful. I think [director] Chris Weitz did a really fantastic job. And then after seeing Taylor [Lautner], I was really impressed. I mean, he’s a 17-year-old kid and he committed and gained 30 pounds and transformed into a completely different person than he was in the first one. He carried this film, and I think that’s a hard thing to do, especially when you’re up against this character Edward. It’s a lot to live up to, and I think he did it justice and he did a fantastic job.

What was your favorite scene to film?

Going to Italy and being part of the Volturi scene was great. Dakota Fanning is fantastic. I was watching her movies before I was even acting. And I got to work with Michael Sheen and he’s an incredible, phenomenal actor and it was great to be able to learn from him and watch him do the scene and watch how it translates to the screen.

He gives that scene a lot of gravitas.

It was so easy for him. He controls the scene. I haven’t worked with an actor of that caliber yet who can do something like that. It was really cool to see.

Who’s your closest friend in the cast?

Kellan Lutz. We’ve been friends for about five years, before this whole Twilight thing even happened. We had the same agent starting out so we’ve basically been friends since we both moved to L.A. We’re together 12 hours a day, every day for like three months at a time.

Is there a role out there you’d really like to play?

I would have loved to do Alice in Wonderland. Being a Bond girl would always be fun. We had a lot of action in Eclipse and I’d definitely like to continue down the action road. I want to do a romantic period piece, but those are really hard to get made because they’re very expensive and there’s not a huge demographic. And far, far down the road, probably when I’m in my 30s, I would love to play a North Country/Erin Brockovich type of a role like Charlize [Theron] and Julia Roberts did because they’re inspirational and they’re about very strong women that changed basically the course of history. That would be a really fun role to play, they really affect people. That’s one of the bigger benefits of acting, that you get to affect people.

If you could pick the director to helm Breaking Dawn, who would it be?

I just went to MoMA [NYC's Museum of Modern Art] and they were honoring Tim Burton, and I saw a whole compilation of his films and artwork and I just think he’s an extraordinary artist. I think it’d be really cool to have his spin on it, because it’s a very odd book, there’s some very weird moments. He would actually put a really weird and cool twist on it. And if we could do it the right way, it’d be great to have two films. You definitely want to get all the important parts in there and you know how hardcore and passionate the fans are about it, so one might be difficult and there would be something left out. So if we could do it right, it’d be great to have two films.

“So if we could do it right, it’d be great to have two films.”   I agree on that!
