This weekend, the cast of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was very, very busy jet-setting across the country to visit local cinema showings of the film.

Slowly, the cities and specific locations for the appearances were revealed, but the castmembers making appearances for the events were kept a secret for the most part.

The appearances took place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

On Friday, the cities whose fans got to see the cast were Chicago (Julia Jones), Kansas City (Gil Birmingham), Las Vegas (Kiowa Gordon), Los Angeles (Dakota Fanning), Minneapolis (Charlie Bewley), Nashville (Tinsel Korey), Orange County (Justin Chon), Vancouver (Tyson Houseman), and Washington, D.C (Christian Serratos).

Friday was a FUN day! We started the afternoon with Tinsel Korey and then Kiowa Gordon. Michael Welch and Justin Chon shared the stage, and then we ended the Q&A session for Friday with our first showing of Booboo Stewart.
Unfortunately, I was unable to get pictures during their Q&A sessions, but I did track them down during the first of two Volturi Balls and snapped Michael, Justin, Kiowa, and Tinsel.

And we ended Friday night with Karaoke with Michael Welch. He is HILARIOUS!!!

Kiowa and his bandmates from “Touche” even made a guest appearance and gave karaoke a try…

“It feels like family.”
According to Alex Meraz, a 25-year-old who appears in the upcoming third installment of the blockbuster Twilight series, the actors who play the so-called “Wolf Pack”—a group of American Indian shape-shifters—became as close as their characters almost as soon as they arrived on set. “We really rely on each other for support,” he said. “It feels like family.” His co-stars Tinsel Korey, 30, Chaske Spencer, 35, and Julia Jones, 29, agreed: “I felt, kind of instantly, like we had so much in common,” Jones said. Being in an intensely-hyped Twilight flick, she explained, “is a really specific kind of experience. We all feel we’re in the same boat.”

“This is you. This is your role.”
The Eclipse casting directors weren’t the first to think Jones, a part-time model and Columbia graduate, was perfect for the part of Leah, the only female wolf. “One of my closest friends read the books before the first movie came out,” she reported, “and she always said, ‘This is going to be you. This is your role.’” Nevertheless, Jones admits to some trepidation about taking on Twilight. “Everybody has an idea of who the character is in their mind, and there’s no way I’m going to be that person for everyone,” she explained. “I just have to hope that the way I bring Leah to life wins people over.”

“Twilight’s a star-maker.”
All four of the actors reported that getting cast in a Twilight flick has already had a transformative effect on their careers: Alex Meraz recently nabbed a starring role in the new film from Kids auteur Larry Clark, and Julia Jones’s next movie is the big-budget video game adaptation Jonah Hex. “It’s a star-maker,” Spencer said of the series. “It’s definitely opened a lot of doors.”

Emily Young’s scars are looking a lot better these days. Must be healing…

Not only is today Tinsel Korey’s birthday, but it’s also her Wolfpack mate, Kiowa Gordon’s.

Kiowa Gordon was born in Berlin, but grew up in Arizona and attended Cactus Shadows High School in Cave Creek, Arizona. He is part of the Hualapai Nation which is placed in Northern Arizona,^[1] and is a part of the same church as (the Twilight Saga)’s author Stephenie Meyer, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.^[2] He is the seventh of eight children (Mac, Sean, Aaron, Josh, Cheyenne, Sariah, Lakota), and his mother, Camille Nighthorse Gordon is also an actress.^[3] Aside from acting Kiowa is also a vocalist.

In 2009, Gordon played werewolf Embry Call in New Moon, based on Stephenie Meyer’s novel of the same name. Gordon has said that he was approached one day at church by Stephenie Meyer as she thought he would be perfect for the wolf pack. He then attended an open casting call where he landed the role of Jacob Black’s best friend. He has now finished Eclipse, reprising his role as Embry. Kiowa replaced Krys Hyatt (who played Embry in Twilight) in New Moon and Eclipse.

He has recently relocated from Cave Creek, Arizona, to Los Angeles.

Two days ago, Tinsel Korey, AKA Emily Young, Tweeted “Are you Phoenix, AZ? Wanna come 2 my bday party 2morrow (24th)?” So, naturally we were all curious as to what she was up to, as most of the CBA crew is located in the Phoenix area.

Then yesterday she announced, “Having my pre-bday party 2day @ CHUCK E CHEESE (no joke) @ 3:30pm 856 South Alma School Road, Mesa, AZ 85202 C U there!”

We were beyond stoked, and of course we would be there! This happened to be the exact Chuck E. Cheese location that I have gone to my entire life.

Tinsel arrived and set up her table, complete with a birthday chair for her, an inflatable birthday crown encrusted with one-of-a-kind Chuck E. Cheese game coins, and lots of coins.

When we finally had the courage to approach her, we introduced ourselves as did she. She was very friendly and gracious, and invited us to sit with her, offering us pizza and coins so that our kids could play games.

Over the next few hours, more fans came and went (even a family all the way from Scotland), all offered the same generosity that we were given. Tinsel played tons of games with us, chatted with us about many different things, just like we were her friends.

She was even brought a Birthday Cake, in which we all sang “Happy Birthday” to her and she was kind enough to share her cake with us as well.

It was an amazing experience, that we will never ever forget. Thank you Tinsel for being so kind, sweet and gracious to us!

Later on, Tinsel tweeted “five hrs of chuck e cheese…life is awesome.”

Yes it is, Tinsel. Happy Birthday!!!!

Yesterday, Summit (Via @Twilight Twitter) announced “Tomorrow make sure check @Twilight often as we make some exciting #NewMoonDVD announcements!”

Today, they declared “The cast and crew of New Moon are going to some #NewMoonDVD midnight release parties this Friday! Check back often as we let you know who is going where for the #NewMoonDVD Midnight release parties!”

It appears they have been announcing them on the hour, but here is what we know so far:

Peter Facinelli is going to New York for New Moon DVD Party.

Edi Gathegi will be in Pittsburgh.

Chaske Spencer and Tyson Houseman will be in Atlanta.

Melissa Rosenberg (Screenwriter) will be in Seattle.

Justin Chon, Christian Serratos, and Michael Welch will be in Salt Lake City.

Charlie Bewley will be in Denver.

Elizabeth Reaser will be in Phoenix.

Kiowa Gordon and Tinsel Korey will be in Cincinnati.

Daniel Cudmore will be in Houston.

Last, but not least. Nikki Reed and Chris Weitz in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, they have not announced which location the cast members will attend, only the city.  So, if you happen to be attending a party in one of these cities, cross your fingers you choose the right one.
