Sorry to disagree with you Chrissy, but since when do we love it no matter what? Twihards are some of the most vocal fans in the world and if we dont love it, we let people know about it. I saw his tweet and completely understand why he is nervous. The reviews so far have been good but until the movie is actually released, Mr. Slade is not in the clear. He knows how this fandom works and it wont be until after June 30th that the overall consensus is made. Plus no matter what there will be people who will analyze every scene and pick him and the movie apart. Even when NM came out on DVD people started criticizing Weitz’s special features and deleted scenes for being not up to our standards…..it is all Hardwicke’s fault for spoiling us. Slade knows what every director who gets involved with the saga does, this is a hard fandom to please. |

Well, I jumped in to say that “no matter what” is not true but it’s been said already. I have a feeling that this 3rd saga is not gonna as good as the previous two and I’m not sure if I’m gonna buy the dvd if that is the case. It’s like, I don’t want to ruin my good memory of the book with a bad film. Sorry if it sounds too harsh. |
