Want to Win $500 bucks? Well, start writing! Brian Leaf’s “Defining Twilight” Essay contest will stop accepting entries on July 31st. Go HERE for all the contest details and find out how to enter. “Defining Twilight” is a vocabulary workbook used to help students with tests such as the SAT. The next time your parents tell you to put down “Twilight” and study, tell them to suck it (vampire pun intended). Thanks to a new vocabulary workbook, which was released today, the Cullen coven can help you master the intricacies of the English language. (They don’t have a wall full of tassels and mortarboards for nothin’!) “Defining Twilight: Vocabulary Workbook for Unlocking the SAT, ACT, GED, and SSAT” by Brian Leaf turns Stephenie Meyer’s vampire tome into a bloody good vocabulary tool, teaching you the meaning of 600 words (think: chiseled, alabaster, ochre, etc.) culled from the pages of the novel. In addition to straight vocabulary, the workbook also covers synonyms, Latin word parts and memorization tools. The Defining Twilight Facebook page is also running a contest where you can win a signed photo by Jackson Rathbone. Go HERE for the details. Related posts: |
