For those of you wondering what has been happening with Jackson’s movie ‘Dread’, we have an update straight from the director, Anthony DiBlasi, for both our US & UK readers:

I just wanted to update any of your Rathbone fans on some Jackson/Dread news. Dread will be opening theatrically in the States through After Dark Films on January 29th 2010. A link to info on that is here: http://www.horrorfestonline.com/

Also, I’m in London now for the UK premiere of Dread. It plays this Sunday August 30th, at the Empire Cinema, Leicester Square in the heart of London’s West End, which is a 1300 seater. Tickets are available now for that show through this website, including some cool stuff on Dread. http://www.frightfest.co.uk/

I would be very thankful if you could pass that info on to your readers. I’d love to get Jackson’s fans in the UK down to that show!

Thanks for the update Mr. DiBlasi.

Any of our lucky CBA readers in the UK, be sure to get your tickets for the Premiere of Dread this Sunday Aug 30th!! If you go please let us know how you liked it. For those in the US mark your calenders for January 29th, 2010! Woot Woot!!

Here’s a little ‘Dread’ preview we had posted a few months ago:

WOW! Does it look good & scary.

YES YES YES!!! I have been waiting so long for this film. I have read the Book of Blood and this story is very intriguing. From the clips, the movie is a little off from the book but it looks like they caught the essence of it.

I can’t wait…a full year of Jackson…I’m in heaven…I have to be.
