According to E! Online our favorite trinity will be at the MTV Movie Awards next month, not only to (almost surely) pick some awards but also to present a NEW clip from TheTwilight Saga: Eclipse!!! Anyone excited??? Will it be the tent scene? All three of them presenting and I can’t think of a better or more intense scene than that..

I was hoping to see Kristen and Rob there. It is kind of a tradition these days for them to show a clip….oh yea I guess Taylor being there will be alright too lol. I think I am wondering what a lot of fans are. One, will Rob and Kristen win best kiss and if they do….what they will do lol.

I’m getting a bit wary on this. After the Oprah show and such, I am worried Summit is getting close to showing TOO many clips. I’m just as excited as everyone for the movie, but I want to see it as the WHOLE movie!

As far as the awards go, this year should be interesting with NM & cast going up against Harry Potter, The Hangover and Avatar. I just voted myself, and I must say…..it’s a tight race for me in some of the categories!

Jess it will be the same issue as last time when they promoted New Moon. They promoted WAY too many clips with that movie and by the time I saw it I felt like most of it had been shown in clips beforehand. At least for the most part they arent shoving Jacob/Taylor down our throats with heavy promoting. I guess they didnt have enough time to do so like before but I am sure they will have a lot of just Taylor and Kristen promoting. Rob is filming Water for Elephants so those two will be doing the overseas touring more.

The award show will be interesting but Twilight had some interesting competition the first time around as well. We’ll see how New Moon but they still wont pick up as many as before because of a lot of the noms are in the same category. Rob, Kristen, and Taylor are all for global superstar so thats three out of eight noms right there. Rob and Taylor both for male performance. 5 out 8 noms have them competing against each other so that splits the votes as well.

I just want ROb and Kristen to win Best Kiss again which i know they probably will.

And New MOon was not my favorite so i didnt vote for everything eventhough i am twihard..

Rob,Kristen and Taylor better win for global superstar…i have no doubt they will though.

Rachelle, i am also wondering what they will do..but those two are so creative and stealthy they will def. think of something because they know they have a high chance of winning.

No one should throw rotten tomatoes at me but i hope twilight doesnt win too much this year because we still have 2 or 3 more movies..and i think Eclipse will be great…we should save all the votes for Eclipse (especially those hot hot scene if that kiss that was shown at the end of the muse video was nominated i would vote a thousand time lol..love it already!)

so i think they should win best kiss and the global superstar and maybe a few other things.

I am so excited they are showing a new clip..so cant wait..ladies, what do you think it will be?!!? I am wishing for a sneak peek at some of the E and B romantic scene..maybe when E takes Bella to the cullen house and the bed..i am so curious to see that and that will be so hot and will leave me wanting so much more..the action scene not so much, for me its all about the love!

P.S. Rachelle is right its become like a tradition to show twilight clips at the mtv movie awards..hope the non fans dont get too annoyed, anyway who cares about them right?

and also forgot to add..since last year the twilight cast’s fame has definetly elevated..not saying it wasnt big before but this time it will be huge especially on the red carpet..with all those screaming and all.

Oh , and i really wish the brought the rest of the cast..it wouldve been really really awesome to see the full cast introducing the new eclipse clip!! (not all i mean like Peter, Kellan, Nikki, Elizabeth, JAckson) that wouldve been nice.

For Global Superstar only one of them can win. Either it will be Rob which is should because the boy cant go anywhere without being mobbed, Kristen, or it will be Taylor and if so he should thank Summit for it because they whored him out for a whole year. No matter what New Moon doesnt have as many noms as Twilight did when you really break it down. Three noms in one category just for Global Superstar.

You all know how much i dearly LOVE Twilight, but I truly believe that when considering New Moon, that others in those categories were better IN MY OPINION

I’m sorry ladies, but I voted for Johnny Depp in Global Superstar. yesterday, today and tomorrow lol.

I did vote for New Moon at times, though. I’m looking forward to voting for Eclipse next year as well

Wow, just wow, I dont even know what to say to that but hey I guess it happens. No one will throw anything at you we all have our opinions.

I think Johnny is a superstar but he isnt the biggest star right now. Just like I think Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, etc are all stars, they arent the biggest right now. Not even our dear sexy original unique heartthrob Johnny has girls screaming for him everywhere he goes like Rob does. Johnny can fall off the planet right now, hide out, and not have to worry about the stalkerazzi….lucky man….but our lovely rob is hounded and has been for the past year and a half. To me that makes him worthy of Global Superstar status because I took it as meaning Global Superstar this year, right now in time, who is the one that you cant look online without seeing hounded by the media and thats rob. I think Johnny is amazing and has reached that level where can comfortably go as he pleases and still appear out of thin air to do a movie before hiding out again. Rob hopefully will have that luxury later on but I took it as who is hot right now all over the world and that is Robert Pattinson. Even people who arent fans know the boy is a quick draw so thats why I chose Rob.

Besides I want to see the movies and cast be successful especially at the award shows dictated by the fans. MTV Awards are like a nice way to say hey Rob and Twilight cast we know you get hounded and work your butts off so lets show you some love.

Then too I guess thats why I am constantly on this site. I love the Cullen boys and the actors that play them. I am a TwiHard and always support them so it isnt surprising who I voted for.

I can see why you voted, Rachelle and that’s cool . The greatest thing about the MTV awards is that it’s the fans that choose and not some panel. As I’ve said before, without the fans these movies wouldn’t be happening (Twilight or not )

one thing I wanted to add was regarding what was said about Johnny Depp. I think that the reason he is able to stay out of the gossip and limelight is by his choice. He’s chosen to not live solely in LA and such. He does get recognized, but I believe that he has such grace that he can handle the fame while still taking time for his family and charities and such.

I think that’s the happy medium that all actors would love to find. Hopefully they can one day.

Well I do agree that it is by choice for Depp but do you honestly think that Rob could make that choice right now? If he could he definitely would. He hates the TV appearances and the media stuff all he wants to do is make movies. And his schedule is jam packed right now so unlike Depp who can lay low for a while, Rob cant. If the boy could hide out in London he would but right now he is on high demand and until that changes he cant just turn off the media attention like a switch or he definitely would. Some celebs crave that attention and is why they get. Rob is magnetic and the attention follows him. He has said plenty of times how he tried so long to fight it but couldnt. They will follow him, his family, everyone remotely connected to him. The thing is while Johnny Depp will always and forever be hot. The media has chosen what is in right now and who to focus on. Depp gets a few moments in the spotlight like you said but they arent making up stories about him, his face isnt plastered all over the internet and mags everywhere. Rob is not only a part of a billion dollar franchise but causes hysteria that most only compare to Beatle Mania….not Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, or George Clooney mania…..and not even our beloved JD can compare to that right now. I dont remember a time where Depp was stalked and seeked the way Rob is. It isnt normal by any standards not even Hollywoods lol. TwiHards will do anything to get a glimpse of the boy and that is why I think he is the Global Superstar of the year. You cant blink without seeing or hearing about RPattz somewhere. It isnt a choice he has or him and Kristen would be in some secluded area right now hiding out. The thing is with their schedules they cant do that and Rob cant even leave LAX without being photographed and followed so while I respect the star power of Depp it isnt the same media or fan hysteria that Rob has right now or has for the past couple of years. If it were then Rob’s attention wouldnt be called a phenomenon by so many it would be called the norm for heartthrobs like him and it isnt.

PS: I have a friend who is COMPLETELY obsessed with Johnny Depp and she will defend him no matter what especially that he is the hottest man in the world…..her opinion of course …..but even she can admit that while Johnny Depp is an icon. He does not cause the same reaction Rob does right now. That is why Rob is wanted for every talk show or award show. It is ratings galore and while Depp makes us all swoon when we see him, he doesnt cause chaos and ratings to jack up over 50% for shows like the MTV Awards which was sadly dying out as far as ratings for before the Twilight cast started attending and that is from the mouths of MTV Execs. Same reason why they wanted Rob at the Oscars even though Twilight hadnt been anywhere close to being considered for an Oscar.

I hope the clip doesn’t show too much. I agree that I don’t want to see all of the movie in clips. LOL

The only stars I seem to hear about today are Rob, Kristen, and Taylor, but mostly just Rob & Kristen. Has Johnny Depp made it to Oprah lately?

Becky I agree and the trio is on top of the world. The biggest draw out of the three is Rob and has been Rob since the beginning. I wish Summit would realize that more and realize that about Edward and the Cullens too but hey what are you going to do. Summit will be Summit. Nice to see you on here again Becky

LOL…Thanks Rachelle. Yeah, going on what 3 or 4 weeks with only 2 days off. I get to look forward to Sunday & Monday off though, if they don’t change their minds. Too many people drink soda on holidays. LOL.

I agree, Rob is the most sought after out of the 3 of them, fan wise I guess. I know I hear more about Rob & screaming crowds than I do anyone else. Then it would be Kristen. I don’t hear anything about Taylor, but then again I don’t really pay attention either.
