Amy Wilkinson’s picks for some of the Volturi. Jane: The only actress I want to see take on the role of the petite pain inflictor with the childlike voice is Pushing Daisies’ Kristin Chenoweth. Her voice is certainly high enough, and at 4′11”, she’s also short enough. Aro: The mind-reading Volturi leader is described as having long, dark hair and translucently white skin. As much as I’d love to see True Blood’s Stephen Moyer take a stab at the royal role, I’m going to think outside the coffin and offer up Crispin Glover, who has a knack for playing creepy and possesses the gaunt features you’d expect of an ancient undead. Caius: Having perfected the role of a wise, other-worldly being sporting long white hair in The Lord of the Rings, I’m nominating British thespian Christopher Lee. Plus, he’s got tons of vampire cred, having played Count Dracula more than 10 times throughout his long career. What do you think? I personally think Kristin Chenoweth would be perfect!
