 Because Peter Facinelli can’t have all the fun, Gil Birmingham (aka Billy Black) has thrown his hat into the “twitter contest” ring.
According to Gil, if he gets 100,000 followers he will pose on his site in a speedo!
Says the relative newcomer to Twitter, “if we reach 100,000 I’ll be posted on all my sites in a Speedo.” With around 2,800 followers (meaning he’ll need about 97,200 more), Birmingham recently tweeted: “Got to run. Heading to the gym if I’m going to pose in a Speedo. Only one week to bulk up . . . .”
Birmingham, one of the most accessible and personable people out there (and not just in the Twilight world), has been extremely good with followers since he joined Twitter about two weeks ago. Answering questions and chatting with his fans, Birmingham certainly makes it worth their while for Twitter-ers to follow him.
To appease concerns that Birmingham might back out if he actually reaches his goal, he said, “I promised…and I don’t break promises.” Though, he also said he was “[t]hinking…[he] may regret this.”
