Jackson Rathbone gives two thumbs up as he attends a photo call for The Last Airbender at the Villamagna Hotel in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday morning (July 13).

The 25-year-old actor was joined by costars Dev Patel, Nicola Peltz and director M. Night Shyamalan.

M. Night recently caught up with MTV on his plans for the Airbender series, saying, “”I do [have scripts for sequels]. The third is more ambiguous, but the second one, I’ve written a draft that I’m really happy with and is darker and richer, and it has a wonderful antagonist in it in Azula, who’s kind of like our only real, pure antagonist in the series, so I’m excited about that.”

I would love to see a sequel, but I hope the script is better than what we have seen for the first film. A lot of Airbender fans weren’t to please with Shyamalan’s dialogue for the actors’ characters. Shyamalan has a lot of work cut out for him, I hope he does better for the 2nd film if he gets the go to do it.

I would go to see them. I loved the cartoon series and I want to see how they work this out.
I don’t know if it will happen or not though. They still haven’t broke even yet. We will wait and see of course.

I have to say that I’d love to see all three books done! I really enjoyed the cartoon series and I was really excited by the effects and all the action. I have my share of problems with the film because I’m a stickler for things in cannon. I hope a few things are rectified forthe sequel
