“A Nightmare on Elm Street,” starring Kellan Lutz, took in an estimated $15.8 million on its opening night Friday (April 30), which puts it on pace for an opening weekend in the $35 million range. The Friday total includes $1.6 million from midnight showings on Thursday.

I really wish Kellan was in it more. Why couldn’t he be the boyfriend we had to watch til the end

I am glad to see the movie did well, but I hate to say that Kellan was hardly the star of it – they didn’t even mention his name in the previews. He should have been in it more but he has another movie coming out next year and I think he IS the star of that one (it is with Mandy Moore)

Anything Kellan is in, to us he is the star.

I wasnt shocked that he died so quickly. That is the scary movie formula. Remember Scream and Scream 2. They promoted Drew Barrymore and Jada Pinket and both died before the opening credits so I had a feeling they would do that for this one. Plus he wasnt up there shooting it for more than a few days. Still love you Kellan!
