Horror Yearbook discusses reports of Kellan’s character in “Nightmare On Elm Street” being “the first death revealed” (sorry, Brandi). According to their site: (spoiler alert!!)

You may remember Nightmareonelmstreetmovie.com’s script review revealed that Kellan Lutz’s character Dean is the obligatory, “quick death before credits to get the audience interested,” and the Fangoria set report seems to confirm this:

“The scene being shot involved a party that happens near the beginning of the film. Kellan Lutz falls asleep at the party, and the chaos begins. Much of what was shot involved the ‘real-world’ death of his character, seen from his friends’ perspective,” a source tells Fango. “Later he was strung up on a pole and is just completely butchered.”

umm….ouch. Thoughts?

I had a feeling thats how it would go down especially since Kellan is someone people want to see now so they can get that quick drawn in by using his name and saying he is in the movie….when in reality he wont be in it for long. Im not really bummed though. I dont like horror movies in the first place so I didnt plan on seeing it. Todays horror movies arent really as good as they used to be. Its funny though because it is just like the Scream movies for Drew Barrymore and Jada Pinkett. They were both scene as big names and name dropped like crazy for the movie…..then are barely in it. Its okay Kellan we still love you. I cant wait to see him in New Moon and definitely am excited about them shooting Eclipse where all the Cullens will get more screen time.
