Actor Michael Welch tells MTV that he is concerned about Robert Pattinson after
hearing about the Cab incident that happened last week.

But as the cast of “Twilight” are discovering these days, Pattinson’s fame is getting dangerous.

“I don’t see how this is sustainable — is this gonna keep going for the rest of his life?” Welch asked of recent video footage that has Pattinson fleeing sobbing fans trying to hug him. “I understand it, it’s Edward Cullen, I get it. But he’s still Rob Pattinson first — he’s still his own guy. Is it time to start getting concerned here?

I like Mike I really do but toward the end of the vid when he was trying to describe Rob I swear if he said “You know” or “I dont know” one more time I was going to scream! Only Rob is cute and adorable when he fumbles with his words in interviews lol. It is crazy how he had to find out about the taxi incident from a reporter especially since he knows Rob. I know they are all busy and stuff but that would suck to find out from the media. I know Ashley did as well and was like “Oh my God that is so horrible is he okay?”

I agree with Mike when he says that Rob is still just his own person. At this point, I think that people need to give the guy some space and let him live his life. He’s not just “Edward Cullen”, but he’s Robert Pattinson…regular guy who still likes to do his own thing and be normal. I do think that there needs to be more done to protect Rob and make sure he is safe. It’s getting really scary and I would hate to be part of the cast and find out that sort of news through word of media. I just hope that everything gets better soon!
