Why you should read it: I found this fic only 3 days ago and read it between the ridiculous hours of 4:30am and 8:30am – this is how good it is! The concept may seem weird, especially if you’ve never read a historical period fic before (for which I’ve had a little obsession for the past couple of weeks). But if you try to feel the vibe of the time and place, you’ll see what a great read this is. Prince Edward will make you angry, disappointed even, but you’ll also fall in love! Personally, I try my best to remember that Bella has a completely different view of the world to mine (DUH!) and understand her conflicted and frankly quite scared soul. GO read it – their journey together will make you smile Also, this has to be one of the best Esmes I’ve ever met!

I am with knicnort, I have to wait until it is completed. There is never a gaurantee that a fic will be completed and I have been burned several times with a writer promising to finish a fic and update regularly who later posts an AN saying things have come up and the fic is on hiatus or will remain incomplete. After happening a few times with some stellar fics that had me hooked, I decided to wait until a fic is complete. That would be like reading a Twilight book only a chapter at a time or even worse…..it is what is happening with Midnight Sun so thanks but no thanks. If it is a great fic then it will be even better once I know it is done. Plus that saves me from having to deal with a crappy ending since I like to make sure it is a HEA fic beforehand. You know I dont do tradegy! |

Hey, just wondering if there will be a rec this week? Vampbait, I don’t know what kind of fics you’re into, but I always try to rec my stories to anyone who’s asking. I’ve written like 7 stories for Twilight, and they are all different. I have one all human story that I just finished, which everyone loved (Moon Scars)and the rest are either BxE or JxR. I’m working on a new one now (Finding Heaven)about E being a ‘fisherman’ for the Volturi, but then he meets B and he kidnaps her. Readers seem to really like it so far. My first fic ‘Morning Darkness’ was rec’d here on this site a while back, but I’ve since deleted it and I’m redoing the whole thing because of a large amount of errors. I’ve gotten great reviews for all my stories, but just not a lot of them, which is why I plug them whenever possible. lol. So if you feel like checking them out on ff.net, my penname is knicnort3. |
