The 2009 MTV Movie Awards owes Twilight and Robert Pattinson a huge thanks. Their ratings were up 76% over last years. Its average audience was 5.3 million viewers, the show’s biggest since 2004. With all the awards Twilight was up for and the debut of the official New Moon Trailer fans tuned in in droves. Of course it only helped that Robert Pattinson was in attendance. He’s got the Midas touch for anything he gets involved in. February’s Oscars, where Rob presented a video montage, saw its numbers soar among teens and kids. Yep we tuned in for that one too.
