Attention Team Jacob: Little, Brown has revealed their cover for the movie tie-in edition of New Moon, which features an exclusive image from the Twilight franchise’s second film. Taylor Lautner fans should certainly pick up more than a few copies (Those arms! That smoldering stare! Remember, he’s only 17!). As for Team Edward…well, at least the image proves that the moon is not, in fact, made of green cheese.

awh I think its cute lol I mean Jacob’s a big part of New Moon so I can see why he’s more prominent on the cover as opposed to Mr. Cullen. I wonder if both boys will be on the Eclipse cover?

They are totally making it seem like there was something steamier going on between Jacob and Bella than there really was. Bella saw him as a friend in a depressing time in her life plus someone to lean on. I read New Moon and since when did Jacob and Bella have this steamy love affair between them that this cover is trying to depict? It is like the people who made the cover didnt even read the actual book!

Why thank you Kim C and it isnt even really about being Team Edward…..even though I am hehe…..it is about staying true to the book. This cover makes it seem like Bella and Jacob are just so in love and Edward is the one trying to move in on what they have…..when in reality it is Jacob who wanted to take Edward’s place. Not even Team Jacob can dispute that. I really want to know who created this cover and ask one simple question…..did you even read New Moon? It is a dark depressing emotional struggle between Bella and Edward and Jacob trying to pull her out of the darkness. This cover doesnt show any of that!

Yes the whole thing about staying true to the book is a exactly it! I was just saying the same thing to someone. The poster makes it look like Bella & Jacob are getting it on which clearly didn’t happen. Jake may have wanted it to but not Bella.

OMG! im definately a Team Jacob fan…nd I live that poster…it is the best thing i’ve seen since…well since the official New Moon poster came out:) This poster seems like Jacob is sooo into bella which is GREAT!

It is no surprise Team Jacob fans love the poster but seriously it doesnt even make sense if you have read New Moon. Make some Jacob posters for Team Jacob fans to make them happy but dont totally make up a cover that doesnt even have to do with the book just to stroke their team moral. We all know there will be plenty of jacob merchandise because of new moon.

I’m gonna get this…..just cause…..well…..I’m bad with collections, I have the 1st ones movie tie-in covered book so now I have to get all of them (and a copy of twilight with the original cover)

But, I see the cover as Jacob trying to keep Bella together, and Bella leaning on him for support, but trying to push away from him at the same time. Argue with me all ya want, but it ain’t gonna change how I interpreted it.
