The iTunes preorder for The Twilight Saga: New Moon Original Motion Picture Soundtrack launched today with 4 exclusive bonus songs, including an original song from Lupe Fiasco entitled ‘Solar Midnite.’ As with all the songs on the soundtrack, these bonus songs will be heard in the The Twilight Saga: New Moon movie and are previously unreleased.

In addition, by preordering the soundtrack through iTunes now, you can immediately download Anya Marina’s ‘Satellite Heart.’ The song debuted yesterday exclusively through MySpace, and you can listen to it at www.myspace.com/anyamarina.

Its funny because I checked yesterday and was bummed the preorder for New Moon wasnt up….I just needed to wait an extra day lol. No matter what since I am a true Twihard I have to get this soundtrack BUT I refuse to listen to it until after I see the movie. I am one of those weird people who really need to watch the movie before listening to the soundtrack. It helps me sort out things better. I would be wondering which song fits where in the movie and driving myself crazy if I heard the soundtrack before seeing the movie. I really cant wait until November 20!

I know what you are saying Rachelle. Before I saw Twilight I really wondered about the Iron & Wine song Flightless Bird but when I saw it used during Edward & Bella’s prom scene I though it was so beautiful & the perfect song for the scene. It’s very touching & now my favorite song on the soundtrack after having seen it used in the movie.
