Dearest Stacie, Thank you for being such a big part of this community and being so passionate, wonderful and lovely! CBA would be very different (and much more boring) without your comments, devotion and love for all things Rob/Edward. May all your wishes come true – today and every day that follows! Look, Rob’s singing “Happy Birthday”!

With all the speculation and rumors going around, Summit has finally made it official and confirmed the premiere date and location for the LA Premiere on the Twilight Twitter: “The Breaking Dawn Part 1 World Premiere will be at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on 11/14! Will you be there?” This is great news for those of us who would like to attend and want to start planning, but there is also some more information that is quite interesting. Creation Entertainment has also made an announcement on their site about a Twilight Convention that could be happening before the premiere in LA. Los Angeles, CA I briefly spoke to one of the reps for Creation to clarify and he explained to me that just like with Eclipse, there is supposed to be a Twilight Convention in LA to help promote the film. The weekend being looked at right now is November 4th and more details should come out some time this week. At first I was positive that I would be attending the premiere, but with the convention being held earlier, it might be nice to go to that instead. I would love to go to both, but I do not think that would be possible, so it seems I will just have to wait and see which seems more promising. Camping out for days on the streets of LA for the premiere seems like a once in a lifetime experience, but if the convention is anything like the Eclipse one, then it would be fun to attend that. What about you ladies? Is anyone planning to attend the premiere or the convention when it is announced? |

We have seen most of these, but Summit did release new stills from Part 1, so I thought it would be nice to post them.

After reading comments, feedback, and criticism from fans, I have decided to compile a list of things we have learned today just from the promo poster Summit has released. Keep in mind this is just for fun and a sense of humor and understanding of sarcasm will be needed 1. To Summit, all fans sound like the teacher from Charlie Brown: Wua, wua, wua. That is all they seem to hear when fans voice their desires and concerns for these films. This has been a theme throughout the films, mainly with the handling of Eclipse. This poster is evidence that Summit simply does not care. You would think after the backlash from how scenes were altered in Eclipse and how much focus has been on anything but Edward and Bella, they would listen, but apparently they hear “Wua Jacob wua wua wua shirtless. Wua wua not Edward and Bella. Wua Wua alter scenes from books.” 2. Condon and Summit are not one in the same: Like a lot of fans, I was losing faith in Condon since this poster was so generic, but I am relieved that it is just a promo poster that Summit, not Condon, put out. He is not responsible for the poster. This is all Summit’s handy work and I think that is obvious if you really look at it. 3. Continuity…..what is that?: Summit having some sort of continuity in these films is like me seeing Kellan Lutz, asking him to marry me, and him accepting. It is not impossible, but not likely at all. The wigs, the hair in general, the makeup, and even the clothes change in style each and every film. Can we at least expect some continuity between Part 1 and Part 2 since it was all shot at the same time? Hopefully, but I would not be shocked if something was off. |

Alright so it is that time again. Here we have the new Breaking Dawn Poster for Part 1 and surprise, surprise, something irks me about it. Yes, I can admit that Jacob Black has a big role in the books…..and Taylor Lautner will probably have an even bigger role in the films…..but seriously, does he need to be on the same level as Edward and Bella? They are getting married…..I cannot wait for the wedding and honeymoon scenes. They are finally going to be happy and yet again, this poster looks like the love triangle is alive and well. And since when is TL as tall as Rob? Why is he almost blocking the Cullens and was it really necessary to have him standing beside them like that? These are some of the first thoughts that ran through my head when I saw the poster. Was I surprised that Summit had Taycob in the poster? Not at all. It would be counterproductive after all the time, money, and marketing they put into Taylor to have him not on it and Jacob was in the book……even though now I am concerned about how much he will be in the first film since it should focus more on Bella and Edward. I get that he needs to be in the poster, but for once it would have been nice to let Edward and Bella stand alone together in the forefront and have him in the background with the others. What do you think? Is this poster perfect? Is my Team Edward love and annoyance with the Summit Taycob love fest clouding my judgement? What changes would you have made, if any? Sound off in the comment section. UPDATE from Chrissy: This is taken straight from the RobsessedPattinson website and it gives more answers about the poster (which most people seem to dislike): I was sure fans asked Jack Morrissey about this poster and after checking his twitter timeline, I was right. He shared the following:

The Entertainment Weekly Breaking Dawn cover and interview have caused many questions to be asked in the fandom. The questions….and concerns for some fans….about the interview are still unanswered, but Bill Condon’s partner, Jack Morrissey did clarify something that made me curious as well. What is with the cover picture? It seems some fans have noticed that Rob and Kristen were not wearing their contacts, Rob’s gold and Kristen’s brown, and were worried that a slip up was already made. Fortunately, it turns out this picture was actually taken during rehearsals. During the actual filming of the scene, they both had their contacts in, so there is no need to worry. Not only is the shot not even a still from the final product, but the eye color mystery has been solved! |

Dear All, I don’t really have an amazing story to recommend this week (I’m in the process of reading one, but I’d rather finish before I post it here). However, today I found something very interesting and well written (5 years ago!), which made me think about what this means to all of us. By “this” I mean all of it – the site, the books, the movies, the actors, the obsession. You name it, I mean it. Share opinions in the comments section. It’d be lovely to read your thought on this. With all the rumors swirling around for the past year about “Unbound Captives,” I was beginning to lose hope, but it seems that Robert Pattinson will indeed be in the film along with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. The story was written by Madeleine Stowe and it should began filming next year. There are two things that excite me about this film right from the start, Robert Pattinson with a Southern accent…..okay I know this probably won’t happen since he is supposed to speak Comanche, but still……and Robert Pattinson in a movie with Hugh Jackman…..yes please! I guess Rob can add this to his resume of films….and what an impressive resume it is becoming! I love him as Edward Cullen, but it is nice to see him branching out even more. With any luck, this film will get off the ground without any further incidents and we will get to see Rob in Bel Ami, Cosmopolis, and Unbound Captives very soon! |

Thanks to the many comments today about the cast and the films, I have decided to pose a question here on CBA. As we all unfortunately know, the films will be over soon. We still have Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2, but the filming has already wrapped and I am sure the majority of the cast is thinking about what to do after the buzz calms down. I have two questions for you: Which of the big three (Rob, Kristen, and Taylor) do you think will be most successful after the films are over? Which castmate that was part of the original cast (Kellan, Nikki, Ashley, Jackson, Peter, and Elizabeth) do you think will surprise people with how well they have done? When I mean the cast, I am talking about the main cast and here are some quick bios below.
Robert Pattinson aka RPattz Films: 1o films not including the Twilight films. Some Notable Films outside of Twilight: Harry Potter, Remember Me, and Water for Elephants Future projects: Bel Ami, Cosmopolis, rumored for Unbound Captives
Kristen Stewart aka KStew Films: 23 films not including the Twilight films Some Notable Films outside of Twilight: Panic Room, Adventureland, The Runaways Future Films: Snow White and the Huntsman
Taylor Lautner aka Tay Tay or TL Films: 4 outside of the Twilight Films Some Notable Films outside of Twilight: Valentines Day, Cheaper By the Dozen, and Sharkboy and Lavagirl Future Films: Abduction coming out in September As for the rest of the cast, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, and Peter Facinelli, be sure to let us know your thoughts on them as well. You can click on their names for quick bios and a filmography. Who do you think will do the most after the films are over? Remember that does not just have to mean acting. It can mean directing, performing, producing, etc…..it is the fair thing to do to include Jackson as a musician, Nikki as a writer/director, and others who might branch out. Let us know in the comment section! Sound off!
