You know, people say it but I really dont see much similarities with Twilight and the Vampire Diaries really there might be a few but I dont see it…although I am not a fan of the vampire diaries. The cullens are the only vampires I can take (plus Stefan doesnt sparkle lol..i sound like i little girl saying that.)..The thing about Twilight though is that it is not really about the vampires to me is the lovestory that got me to love the series..if it wasnt for that I dont think i would’ve liked twilight because i am not into the whole vampire thing so the lovestory and the family dynamic of the cullens (Emmett!!!) is what is keeping me a twihard but I guess for others it is different.
