The Examiner’s Amanda Bell has written an article mentioning the discussion questions that were included in the movie tie-in of the book Twilight and the possibilities for topics to be included in the New Moon tie-in edition as well.

In New Moon, there were certainly a great number of talking points, both about the new characters (and their respective cultures), and the new settings, circumstances, and decisions being made throughout the story.

For instance, a question might ask what the significance of the various Volturi vampires’ powers are – or, more specifically, what is the insinuation behind Aro’s desire for Bella, Edward, and Alice to be a part of his coven and what sort of changes would that inspire in his present guard?

Or, as another example, a question might arise as to the new wolfpack – perhaps asking whether there are any identifiable similarities between Emily’s character and Bella’s.

Ah, discussion questions, how they have been such a part of most of my classes and seminars throughout high school and college. (”What do you think Piggy’s death symbolizes in relation to the stranded boys?” …..flashbacks)
