“Because I read Twilight I have unrealistic expectations about men.” Is this just a funny line or have we actually adopted some unrealistic ideals for men based around a fictional character? A Digial Spy article explores this dynamic:
They go on to say that after centuries of unrealistic expectations about the “ideal” woman, maybe turn-about is fair play? Read the article here. Thanks to Twilight Treasury for finding this. Related posts: |

I understand that some people may fantasize about Edward and how they would like to find him in rel life, but if they aren’t able to discern fact from fiction then they do have a problem. |

I think women just want to find a man who puts them before anything else and will do anything to make sure they are happy and safe. I believe my fiance is about as close to Edward as real life gets. My fiance is to me the way Edward is to Bella. He is what I need, and I am what he needs. But on the other hand, maybe women want a man who is painfully beautiful. =D |

Women just need an Edward I think. We don’t want a macho man who’s hot for a girl with a D cup. We want someone pure and honest. I agree with Melissa and Debbie. |
