Around 5am, after a long all night shoot & filming during the day, Robert Pattinson stopped to sign autographs & take pics with fans who had been waiting all night on the set of ‘Remember Me’. This pic is from @aliceinnyc (in case you couldn’t tell from the huge tags) who was tweeting from the set & had been there all night.

I would just like to say, to all the people that made comments about how rude Rob is & how he should be waving at fans or giving fans who have been waiting at the set acknowledgment, this is what happens when you are polite & respectful while you are waiting. Rob is VERY generous with his fans except when you are loud or scary or rude. If the security feel like it’s not safe or feel like the crowd is too over zealous don’t expect Rob to be acknowledging you. To illustrate this point here are some things @aliceinnyc tweeted last night:

• Fans have been very cool during these night shoots. Quiet, respectful, non-interferring. Nice to finally see.
• He signed autographs and took pix w/ lots of people. See what happens when you are respectful of his privacy & work?

The fans were quiet & polite & they were rewarded.

they are sooooooooooo lucky! i love Rob!

That is what makes Rob so attractive. It isn’t his stunning good looks. It is his heart, charm, character & personality that draws people of all ages to him. He is genuinely a good person.

Glad to hear this! Maybe those girls that attacked him last week will rethink the way they treat ppl in the future! Stars are ppl too!

Thank You to the girls who treated Rob with respect and didn’t scream and act like a crazy person, this makes me feel good. I hope all fans can treat Rob like a person and not man meat.

Congrats to those that were nice and polite and got to meet Rob by being kind and patient and not rude and obnoxious. Joyce, your remark is not only disgusting, but truly sad. I hope you don’t have any desire to meet him in person because with comments like that he’ll surely avoid you like the plague and who could blame him.

It is nice to see that good behavior is rewarded. The bad should be punished by being ignored. I personally wouldn’t have gone down there. I’m not big on crowds in the first place, but I wouldn’t cause I would feel its disrespectful. but, if others do it, good for them, as long as they are nice and respectful and let him work, then so be it, then they should be rewarded.

Can anyone blame him?…NO, I don’t think he should stop for his own safety and acknowledge a bunch of people screaming and hording over him. If you can’t be respectful of him and his safety, why should he stop and be respectful back. I am sooo glad that there were people (fans) around that could demmonstrate how you should act and treat the celebrity you are hoping to meet. Good job and congratulations to those who treated Rob like he deserves.
