Gossip Cop asked today if you think Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz leaving the Saga would hurt the series.

The fact that GC is not squelching this as a rumor, has to give one pause. They seem to have an “in” at Summit when it comes to Twilight rumors, which make me think that if you want your feeling about Alice and Emmett heard by the powers that be, leaving a comment on Gossip Cop’s post might be a good way to go. I’m just sayin’….

Reports are swirling today that Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz might leave the “Twilight” franchise before Breaking Dawn begins production if contract negotiations crumble.

While it’s expected that the Big Three of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are close to finalizing deals to complete the run, Greene and Lutz are rumored to be looking for more than producers are willing to spend.

Bryce Dallas Howard is taking over for Rachelle Levefre in the upcoming Eclipse, so there is a precedent for secondary role replacements.

Gossip Cop wanted to know how much YOU think potential losses of Greene and Lutz would mean to the series’ final installment.

Ashley and Kellan are as important in the 4th film as they were in the first. They need to complete the series for their fans. They are my favorite characters. Ashley and Kellan are an asset. The movie wouldn’t be the same without them, plus it would make me very sad. The best looking actors in the movie in my opinion. It would ruin the ending.

I just need to say that all of this talk…if making me a headache!! A HUGE freakin migraine headache! I trust Gossip Cop, usually they are shooting down rumors, not posting them. I don’t know what to make of this. I hope that it’s not true, and they will both be on board for BD. That movie or movieS is going to be hard enough to sit through in the fist place, but no Kellan or Ashley…..I don’t want to think about it. They are Emmett and Alice, my Twilight world wouldn’t be the same w/out them. If they are not in BD, I will eriously have to think about if I’m going to waste my money to see it.

I definitely trust gossip cop and you notice how they arent swearing up and down that it is true but are pretty much saying that it potentially could be. That in itself makes me worried. We should all definitely comment on Gossip Cop because out of all the sites out there that post, I trust this one the most. This is all getting way too intense! Ashley and Kellan have to stay!!!

Another thing I just noticed on the Gossip Cop site, the story is the only one on the main page NOT to have a true vs rumor meter so they are taking this lightly but wanting us to put our two cents in. Thats what I love about Gossip Cop. They dont jump the gun and they are still calling it a rumor until they can find out more info. In other words, they are saying this is what the speculation is, what do you think about it if it is true lol. You have to love that type of honesty on a site these days because it is rare. Hopefully they will find out more info for us and give us an official confirmation.

I’m really hoping that this doesn’t end up being the case. I think it’s important to have the same cast throughout the entire series. Flippin’ up Victoria is one thing, but changing up members of the Cullen clan in the last installment just isn’t right. If its all a matter of money however and they can’t come to some sort of agreement I say let em go. Its not like they’re curing cancer here…

Well Rachelle, I put in my two cents worth with Gossip Cop…so we’ll see. I hope, no matter what happens, that Ashley and Kellan know that their TRUE fans lve them and don’t want them to go.
