ninemsn logo v2 The Twilight Saga Breaks Australian Sales Record“Copies of Breaking Dawn, the latest book in the four-part series, flew off Australian bookstore shelves at a rate of 19,800 copies each week during January, according to Nielsen Bookscan.

The previous record for January sales was held by The Da Vinci Code, with 14,500 copies sold in the first month of 2005.

The four books in Meyer’s series are currently sitting at the top of the bestseller chart, with Breaking Dawn in first place followed by Eclipse, New Moon and Twilight.”
