Joyce, me neither. Why are we still talking about this? Must be some truth to the rumor then. Ugh, I feel sick now. :-}

Ashley and Kellan are a very big part of the movies and it would not be a good thing to replace them. Bad movie decision summit,it would be wise to keep them on

Amen Betty!!! Amen!! I agree with you, they are a big part….and I know they haven’t gotten a whole lot of screen time, and the characters are not “really” in BD, esp the 2nd and third parts……but come on……..A and K ARE Alice and Emmett!!!

I am seeing so much, like from Gossip Cop, with no one at all saying it isn’t real. Everyone seems to be just politely “No commenting.” It makes me sick to think they might not be there through the end.

Oh Joyce…this is all much worse than I originally thought! Someone has to make an offical statement IN a press conference or something soon! OR, it looks like we are getting together an angry mob and heading down to Summit offices w/ those torches and pitchforks!!!!

No one is officially commenting because no one really knows what is going on besides the people involved. Gossip Cop reported that there is speculation and rumors about it, but no one really knows just how detailed this all is. What I mean by that is whenever there are negotiations taking place one side or both sides are going to try and get the most bang for their buck. Does that mean that Kellan and Ashley are not going to be in BD? No, it means they want the money they deserve and lets be real 1.5 million is NOT a lot of salary for one of the main cast members of a billion dollar franchise. But at this point everything is just hearsay and rumors and I doubt Summit or Ashley and Kellan will mention it unless it is finalized because that just isnt how it works. Just like in other industries you dont go around telling everyone how much you make or how much other people around you make because it causes issues. That is exactly why Nikki Reed refused to comment on ANY of her business affairs or her friends’ business affairs because that isnt her place no matter what the situation is. As of right now all we know is that every member of the cast is trying to finalize their deals….Kristen, Taylor, and Rob are pretty much a done deal….and Summit is going to look at their budget to decide how many films will be made.

What people must realize is that Summit was going bankrupt before Twilight came along and now they are using those billions in profit to make other movies and pay for their debt. That is why each movie has had such a low budget less than 70 million to make Eclipse? That is nothing in movie terms and Summit is trying to swindle money and hold onto as much as they can. No actors besides Rob, Kristen, and Taylor got raises after Twilight, which had the salary of an indie film, so take that into account so yes actors are going to want more for the franchise now and they deserve it, but Summit is going to try and keep as much from them as possible because that money goes to their execs and other films that STILL are no where as successful as the franchise but Summit is putting the money back into a debt ridden Summit. That is why they are holding out and not quick to give the raises to the cast. So for now we are where we were before. NOTHING is confirmed, all is hearsay and speculation from the infamous “sources” we have heard from in the past, and all we can do is hope that Summit is smart enough to know that replacing Ashley and Kellan would cause a damn riot lol.

what kind of stupid question is that?!? they better be back or us I said no movie BD for me! HEy Rachelle, been awhile.

Not only will A and K cause a damn riot so will we the fans! If Taylor was able to have all that support and not a lot of the fans are even team jacob, then how much more Emmett and Ashley..i cant think of anyone better for Emmett..they are just going to f everything up.

I also feel sick hearing about this Stacie..on top of that CH has to say all that…we dont want any arguments behind the scenes..why is summit so damn annoying….they think they rule the world now or what!?! what a lousy company!!!!!! and that is coming from my heart.

after twilight, I hope each of the actors leave them and they arent getting my money again!

Rachelle is right as always! no raises?!? are they nuts?!? upon all the money they are going to get they are only giving the main actors 8 million (correct me if im wrong)or so..then i can only imagine what the secondary characters are getting!

Know what…..reading what Rachelle has said has made me realize that Summit is greedy, very greedy. I know that they are a compay, and they have employees that they have to pay…BUT come on ladies!!! W/out Twilight, as Rachelle has said, they would have nothing! Hell, there would be no Summit. I think they need to give a little to get something back. B/C we will riot, and I know I will not see BD w/out the ENTIRE cast in tact.

I really hope that all the parties involved settle all this nonsense soon. I have a feeling that so much more is keeping BD’s production from starting then we know.

That is also why Summit will not be able to ever get high paid stars in their films because they wont shell out the money to. They still stick with virtual unknowns or low status actors with other films they do because they can pay them less. Twilight is the only film full of stars right now and they started off as unknowns….see the pattern. Until Summit pulls its head out of its butt that will always be the case. Even with Remember Me, they got actors who are known but not raking in the dough right now like Pierce Brosnan and the movie was considered an indie film even though it really wasnt. Summit cant branch out because Summit is too busy holding on to their money. All I know is that the studio is NOT making a good name for itself and to contend with the big boys they have to act like they have some damn sense and use the money the right way.

I agree that this is why they cant get high paid actors..and the Pierce guy.. Exactly!!! busy holding its money…they should be glad for these twilight stars or they would’ve been nowhere!

You areright they really are not making a good name for themselves..its a shame..they will never be able to be like those tops studios like Paramount and such if they dont get it together!

THey act and make us think that they care but they just want money..they dont know what kind of fans they are dealing with especially us here at CBA. They havent heard of us yet..we know all their little schemes they arent fooling us!

Stacie me too i have a feeling..but us usual we will never know as helpless fans. but i will have them know we are not completely out of the know.

The only way Summit could be like Paramount is if they got their act together. Now dont get me wrong every studio has its flaws and will screw over people when it comes to money but studios like Paramount have a lot of money to work with and know when to let some of it go unlike Summit.
